Severus seens to finally be getting a clue. Though he really should see the extent of what Harry has actually been through. The thinks the spells pierced through Harry. If he only knew, ohh my goodness.

I wonder if Lucius will tell anyone about Dobby. At this point I get fear and maybe a bit of pride in the way but, that was an extreme reaction that even had me concerned.

This story is sooo goood!

Holly is such a selfish little hypocrite. She hates the Dursleys for abusing Harry, but cuddles up to a man who abuses Harry just as viciously. She doesn't even come close to deserving someone as selfless as Harry.

Snape has absolutely no character consistency at all. It seems like you can't decide what to do with him. Last chapter, he hated Harry just as vehemently as ever, but this chapter he is keeping vigil at his bedside all night?! Reassuring Harry that Holly is ok?! Since when does he give a sh*t? There is nothing in the story that explains a character shift that dramatic in such a short time. It is really frustrating because your other characters as consistent, even if some are unlikeable (like Holly for her routine selfishness).

Yay! Harry's awake! Great Chapter! Thanks for the quick update! So many new secrets coming to light. Very intrigued with the tingle Sirius felt. I do so hope Dudley can get back his good relationship with Narcissa. Loved the blanket Holly received, great idea. As always can't wait to read the next chapter! Thanks again for updating.

Woo! At last! I feel like it's not a coincidence that Harry woke once Snape went to his bedside, but whether that's author preference or magical reasonings, I'm unsure.

Anther great chapter so glad you’re back to writing. Glad Tobias was able to deliver if you hard truths to Severus. Nice that dean got some answers about his dad.

I didn't what to like Tobias Snape but this chapter warms to me a bit. He has a way of getting under Severus's skin enough that Severus can't ignore his own wrong doing.

My tired brain isn't making writing sentences easy so I'll just add I love this fic so much.

This is not some pure filler, this chapter was good. Really. Also, awaiting the next one, though can't say cuz time... Another totally unrelated note what do you think might be your schedule?

So, I read this story and I really like it so far. But, I have problems with Snape. Not directly because of his hate of Harry, but because he is just so stupid while still believing he is intelligent. He has has evidence that he is wrong about Harry, he has multiple people he seems to respect and admire tell him he is wrong, and his relationships would be so much better if he at least kept a neutral stance regarding Harry but he refuses to even consider it.

Just in this chapter he claims Harry is not powerful enough for a wandless shield charm, but knows that Harry cast a patronus to drive away. He also claims that Harry must have a low pain tolerance despite knowing (unless he is a completely oblivious moron) that Harry has been subjected to multiple crutiatus curses by Voldemort. I know there are many other examples of this kind of thing in previous chapters.

All in all, it sums up to a Snape that is monumentally stupid, James Potter-arrogant times 10, unrepentantly abusive, and absolutely undeserving of any positive relationships. I frankly find it a character flaw that Regulus, Lucius, and especially Holly haven't completely dropped him already.
