Poor Vincent Crabbe not getting sorted I'm sure Malfoy's father will hear about it one of his goons not making the cut.

As for Tanya's sorting for one you've made her far too trusting no way a mysterious hat could say I couldn't even if I wanted too and she'd believe it she was already questioning whether the hat was still functioning properly after so many years she has no idea of how the magic of this world works so she would have refused and not taken the chance of betrayal.

Leading onto there was no house but Slytherin for her she actively manipulated situations to commit war crimes using her age to give a "warning" that got disregarded as a prank leading to Civilian casualties she ordered troops who disobeyed her into a position she knew would be targeted to have them killed she's a functioning high level sociopath with no morals Slytherin would be the only one to take her as her personality is geared to her own survival at the cost of anyone else being a battle junkie isn't a trait of Gryffindor house it's actually Bravery which to be fair she's plenty brave. Honor she has none. Loyalty to herself not others and Boldness I guess it is pretty bold to commit war crimes and kill civilians but I don't think thats the kind of boldness Gryffindor is looking for.

All of that and the hat didn't judge her harshly for her actions it could see her reasoning behind every action she took the cold brutal efficiency the willingness to commit atrocities you either missed some pretty big points on Tanya's character or you have a poor understanding of why what she does is bad it's easy to miss in the anime manga as she is very rarely called out on her actions as they benefit the empire and they get swept under the rug one guy sees her for what she is but gets shutdown from ever doing anything about her.

So while you can make an argument for her to be in any house it falls apart the second you take into account her personality and her actions.

Honestly a better way of doing this story would have been Tanya was reborn as Harry not sure why you felt the need to add Tanya to Harry's world how much value does she add as her own character rather than a plot device in she's actually Harry. How much can you change cannon thanks to her inclusion you obviously kept her name and gender as otherwise its just another oc your missing out on the opportunity to have a bigger impact by changing Harry.

I'm not going to judge the story before I've finished it but I fear its going to be a case of Tanya just so happened to be here in regards to canon events she's in Gryffindor so she can be Harry's friend and have a reason to be at every cannon event but if events don't change much because of it she's just here for the sake of it hopefully my fears are unfounded and you have a great plot going forwards and I will really enjoy what you do.

All I can say is well done I have read every chapter of The Story So Far from the very beginning and I have greatly enjoyed it I love how you got all the characters down and how you have shown character progression.

I also really enjoy that you know how to make things original because of a new character AKA Tanya being in the mix without going completely off the rails like some other stories.

I also like how that yes this is a story about Tanya but this is also the Harry Potter verse meaning the other characters are not Side characters per say they're more like co-stars.

I simply cannot wait for the next year of Hogwarts of your story I also really like the fact that the Sorcerer's Stone is still in the mirror meaning it was not destroyed. That's an interesting twist and I can't wait to see how you use it later in the other years.
