As wonderful an explanation for Neville's lousy luck with his wand, wouldn't a simpler reason be the wand is bonded with his father who is still alive. Though the burn out of the core is understandable. Great chapter, thanks

I think if Kevin were to reveal himself (through Harry to anyone it would probably be Draco first.
