Thank you for the story. Obviously, I read it all, so it was good, if not very satisfying from a SI critical standpoint.
Conclusion: Meh. SI was lucky, not clever or powerful. The overpowered character here is Lady Death, who either has very little ability to reward SI (we will refer to as "Harry"), or chooses not to give him overpowered rewards for... reasons. Harry, aside from rarely using his foreknowledge, does a pretty poor job of taking advantage of what should be an completely overpowered position, especially after he received a free horcrux-scar fix. Harry didn't use the RoR effectively or sweep it for wealth, didn't go obtain a time-turner, didn't abuse his foreknowledge to place bets (Irish win but Krum get snitch) or investments; Harry definitely could have been much more wealthy, powerful, and dealt with the British pureblood situation more aggressively. He also was ridiculously lucky a couple of times where he otherwise would have failed spectacularly. ... lets be honest, Sirius should have died from Harry's neglect/carelessness which would have given Draco all of House Black's wealth. Similarly, Harry lucked into the situation where he was gifted the Hufflepuff horcrux.

Chapter 28... this chapter's reward for the Hufflepuff Horcrux makes zero sense. Our protagonist IS NOT HARRY POTTER! He is the 18 year old guy to took over Harry's body at age 11, long after Lilly and James died, probably after Harry died. Lilly and James weren't his parents. He doesn't know them and he isn't their son. Given that Death knows what has happened, it would stand to reason that they might also. So... what kind of reward is meeting the dead parents of the boy whose body you've stolen? If anything, his reaction should be, "I'm so sorry you are dead. Lady Death, where is the soul that inhabited this body from age 0-11, if he isn't with his parents. Did I consume it?!"

I'm not sure if it is critique or kudos, but it strikes me that Lady Death's rewards are all things that Harry could have learned, purchased or acquired for himself (he is somewhat wealthy). The potions to restore him to health; probably something that exist in the WW, as we know that bones can be vanished and regrown and most soft-tissue injuries that are not infused with dark magic can be corrected (and none of Harry's injuries aside from his scar were from dark magic). The trunk is something that canonically was rare but not unique or unobtainable (Newt Scamander wasn't fabulously wealthy and he had a briefcase with a small hotel inside). Glasses that grant occlumency are cool, but Harry can learn occlumency and probably doesn't want to wear glasses forever, so he WILL need to learn it eventually (and can easily do so using the diadem). Advancing Harry's magical core by aging him merely gives him what he would have naturally developed; Death didn't increase his potential or extend his core growth period... so far as we know.

In short, Death isn't really giving Harry any "cheats" and, arguably, what she is getting out of the deal is truly worth more than she is paying out. Were it not for the fact that Harry is her "champion" and is getting a second-chance life, one might question the balance.

Still... very entertaining story. Looks like it WILL go poly, which will make that fanbase happy. Sadly, no Harmony. But, can't have it all, especially where Harry seems to overlook quite a few of the cannon knowledge and opportunities. (RoR wealth. Voldemort strengthening rituals. Obtaining Dobby as a house-elf. Knowledge/DMLE-tip-off regarding Death Eater identities, especially within MoM. Etc.)

I must say the I’m sad to see Herm go to a guy other than Harry/SI, but if monogamy is in the cards, Fleur is an acceptable alternative. She is also (like Herm) extremely smart, magically powerful, attractive, hard-working, and a good person (not to mention Fleur is from a nice and wealthy family). I was surprised, with the other relationships introduced, that polyamory wasn’t in the cards in this story.

It's here that the bottom half of her face, still the only visible part, blooms into a radiant smile. "You didn't even hesitate... Your wish to become a hero, and the idea that there were others who could use your help, meant you were more than willing to give up your name and memories in return for the chance. Nah too altruistic for me. I dont mind him being good guy unlike average human who is pretty selfish but I cant read Emiya Shirou wannabe. Thats just too unrealistic imo.

I wouldn't have minded if his wish was to live a new life and maybe do good rather than the sole reason he choose that because he want to help others. Nah thats unrealistic.

Ah, this Harry is a bit too much of a ... simp and death existence, and manipulative behaviour doesn't match with a conceptual being of death, more like someone trying to manipulate him into getting Voldemort and the original Harry Soul as a collection of some sort

This little shopping date with cho where she wants him to wear nice clothes and get a haircut is weird as shit. Admittedly, kids that age can care about fashion - particularly the girls. But by the same token, her treating this like its a playdate with her boyfriend is super strange. I buy zero percent of this, particularly that her parents let her wander diagon alley unaccompanied and that mcgonagall would ditch harry right when she realized how much abuse he has suffered. Even if the errand is dropping off the stone. Sell all stock in this bit of the tale. I hope the rest gets more realistic because bleh

Honestly, that bit took me so far out of the story that it kind of ruined the rest of the chapter for me. I hate to say it, but Hagrid was more responsible than your mcgonagall. Throwing shade at him only to write a less responsible adult is pathetic.
