Damn, I want to read more! All that world and character building only to be edged when things truly start ramping up in the elemental nations. So cruel! This was fantastic work Midnight. I read this so fast it was easy to see how much you improved your writing from earlier chapters. The only real criticism I have that doesn't feel pedantic is that I wish there were more casual character interactions and dialog y'know? Especially between Zai and Azu. You've introduced many interesting characters, but it's difficult to keep track of them all. I'd like to see them fleshed out a bit more. Even though its been a while since you finished this, I'll check back every now and then to see if you've started book II. Fingers crossed

Oh my god. "Finally, some good fucking food." A paced and realistic OC story. This is actually a relief and a pleasure to read, so far. So, so many times an author will be like 'rEaLiStiC PrOgReSsIoN/NoN oP OC.' Next minute mc is beating Kakashi in the bell test. ugh. Really hope this doesn't go that way. Props to the author. I'm having trouble putting this book down!

For those who just read some chapters and feel bored trust me guys the way it connects to canon naruto is good. This is a story from a guy born in civilian side not inside any hidden village. It deals with the politics as well as is kinda slice of life so just have some patience and read it. In my honest opinion this fic is way more better than lot of other fic which just goes whole shebang into the power hungry mode and makes their character so op like if learning something was easy then wouldn't there be more elite ninjas. The grammar is also not bad (and believe me when i say it as i have read some where the author can't even distinguish between which pronouns to use like using she for a male every 3 or 4 lines making me confused as hell.) Just read it its good guys... hope the author will upload book 2 sooner and this series isn't left dead.

30 chapters not one mentioned of the word chakra...Good writing, impeccable grammar but flawed concept. We came to read because of the title but plot progression was too slow and almost non-existing. What's the point of the story?
