Hilarious fic with an unexpectedly sweet ending

I read this before months ago then couldn't find it again despite looking for ages. I'm glad that I stumbled upon it again.

This definitely felt like a Vegas trip. Booze, checking on friends, tattoos, girls, and booze.

Beaut little story. Glad Ron got lucky (he cops enough crap - mostly deserved) and Harry had a good time too.

Why did you write the entire thing as a flashback? It was unnecessary. Just slip the first part near the end and you have a concise and complete story with no stupid plot devices.

Since neither of them remembered the night in that much detail, the flashback removed the suspension of disbelief required for the story in the first place. How can we read it from Mattie's perspective (or Harry's as he listens to her story) if she was foggy on what happened? Right, we can't.

There are times when flashbacks are necessary, and this wasn't one of them.
