If they just needed a death certificate of the vault owner or the item owner, why didn't they just go get Voldemort's death certificate?

Like, they proclaimed him dead when Harry vanquished him at 15 months, even though he was a disembodied Spirit the ministry was like "he's dead", so there should be a death certificate.

Ive read this story a few times now, and this chapter always makes me cry.

i love this... especially the ending. i came across this on Reddit tbh and from the number of upvotes, decided to give it a try. and I am glad i did.. i was a bit skeptical at start with Harry considering himself dead and then planning to crossover sometime ... but thanks for happy ending..

I finally managed to stop sobbing enough to read the epilogue and finish this fabulous story. Such an unexpected and original plotline. Wonderful characters, (Dobby the demented potioneer! Wow!Funny, tragic and compassionate. Hard to read at times because the emotions were just so strong, but that is a hallmark of an excellent story.
Thank you so much for writing and sharing. I enjoy your stories, even when they make me cry. I hope you give us many more in future.
