| EmlynMara chapter 42 . 7/8/2023 Elizabeth the hero! So glad she didn’t allow herself to be shunted aside, caught on to what was happening and stood firm in her defense of Anne and Darcy. Lady Cartwright was commendable too. Darcy simply added to the confrontation, but it sounds as if Lady Catherine has finally been thwarted. Unfortunately, her previous stop will most likely lend itself to a bit of trouble and scandal. Great chapter. |
