Giant Chandelures full of the souls of a cracked out Spiritomb, hundreds of Celebis stuck in a death time loop as their corpses clutch broken Time Gears? I like the star wars reference to Anakin Skywalker. When Vulpix said "Riolu...really don't think I like this sand. It's coarse, rough, irritating...and it's getting everywhere."

I like to think that Fogbound Lake would count as their first date. Or maybe when they visit that private hot springs. Would that visit count as a date?

I think it's okay for Riolu to say Sarah Palmer quote. "I thought you'd be taller." Do you know how many TV shows and movies made a similar quote to that. Also they don't got movies in that Pokémon world. So it's fair game in my opinion.

I agree legendaries are weird, but are also cool and incredible! Although I like to think that Legendary don't have a gender. And can reproduce, just like humans. Depending on their health, mindset and time of the year. Other can reproduce once every 100 years and while some are even shorter years. Other methods include smelling a special flower during the specific year during the Legendary Pokémon condition and maturity.

Riolu and Vulpix experienced the Dimensional Scream. And saw the future. They should definitely write down a plan on how to proceed. When reaching the next timegear.

I'm surprised the hero and partner lost/failed a mission. To be completely honest I think it's a good thing. You don't wanna make them too strong.

so I was curious about the amount of attack stat riolu could have by the end of the story so I used mega Lucarios absulute maximum as a base 427 (wich let's be honest is under estimating a mystery dungeon protagonist) so first swords dance gives a 32x boost with max pp then bulk up gives a 16x boost hone claws 12x boost then workup gives a 24x boost (mostly because of how much pp it has) and then curse wich Ninetales/Vulpix learns give a 8x boost resulting in a 92x boost and a attack stat total of 39,284 witch with a attack stat like that you could one shot basically any pokemon in any situation with quick attack

I love this for the fact that Riolu and Vulpix are adorable and the share of fluff and lust is incredible. My only regret is not completing the game.
