This was an amazing chapter. Honestly, I'll be perfectly happy if we never see that Mary Sue expy again, there's more than enough raw firepower on Team Aang to give Tanya a headache.

The strangest thing that stuck out to me is that Commander is the rank higher than Captain... in RL Navies it is the opposite. But I seem to recall the Fire Nation Navy having that particular quirk.

Nice chapter. I liked the additional stuff you added, especially how Tanya starts to understand Zuko's position a lot more and questions some of the stuff she thought she knew..

About tanya's other title, I think "Devil of the Southern Sea" sounds a bit better than " Devil of the South sea".
Other than that i enjoyed it.

Your first chapter nails it. I like that you didn't dwell to much what happened or how Tanya died against Mary and choosing to not have Being X to talk to when it happened, gives a nice atmospfere of mystic and a tad of realism. Death is a sudden thing and that Tanya doesn't know how she died makes for a great moment and maybe even a important lesson for her.

Nice locationg for Tanya to be reborn (liked your comment that Tanya thought she was reborn in feudal Japan with to much love for red) and I like how you have set up the tournament. Forcing Tanya to make a hard choice and in the end chose the third option that is the hardest one to do, is just so like her.

Zuko encounter with Tanya was nice, but instead of (overall) focusing so much on Tanya's smile ( I feel that Tanya is capable of a normal friendly smile) you could have focused more that her outlandish looks, Blond hair and unatural blond eyes, makes even the most innocent act of hers so much more terrifying. This would feel that its not Tanya's fault (being unable to smile like a normal person in her third life) that Zuko is afraid of her, but just Being X making it hard for our dear none-beliver

Having both Iroh and Ozai catch on that she held back was also great, shows us that they are not easily fooled, like the likes of Zhao.

I also liked all those misconceptions, typical of Tanya. They are not so exagerated and feel natural.
The boy who avoids you after you gave him a great speach? He has a crush on you and is not terrifed.
She gets enrolled into the academy after the tournament, because Tanay thinks she impressed Azula, who pulled a few strings to be together? It's all Ozai wanting to make a usefull pawn of her, while Azula is given a rival to focus on.

I wonder if over the years, Azula came to respect Tanya? Tanya is more or less what she wanted to be and while she still would be cold and think Tanya is just a pawn, maybe she sees in her the only person she can trust fully.

Now I don't know what to thing about that the whole Mary situation. I might have preffered if Tanya was alone, but I'll watch your plan unfold. Maybe Tanya's old friends of the 203rd are also present.
Somehow I like the idea that each Visha, Weiss, Konig and Grantz, are also reincarnated sooner than her and have a life of there own and in different location, creating conflict for Tanya.

Like lets say Visha, because of her general gentle nature gets reborn in the Norht Pole as a water bender and has also a family there, so when Tanya invades with Zhao, Visha is forced to fight against her former Superior in order to protect her family. Maybe even showing us that its the first time she used waterbending offensively (because woman are only allowed to heal) and she nails it.

Weiss feels like an earthbender somehow, and I don't know where to put him, but I like the ideal of him being a Dai lee or a common earthbender wanting to serve his kingdom.

Grantz feels like a freedom fighter to me, who is blinded by hate against the Fire Nation, while Konig... idk.

This is well written, but it seems a colossal waste to follow the stations of Youjo Senki canon after you've gone to all the trouble of putting her in Avatar-verse.

Or are you planning these blessings to be Being X poking his nose in, and now the local spirits will stir to help Tanya against this divine interloper? That might be interesting...

1.I love how you put Zao in the spot light,e is indeed a ruthless office so a great fit for Tanya cause she won't be limited.
2. The new Mary... i believe you put her there so you can give us another pov in the Gang.
3. I do hope you keep something from the fire temple to make Tanya look more like a champion of agni.
4.I can't wait for Tanya Hiro tea time plus misunderstanding's.

I like it so far, but I am really not a fan of the whole Mary Sue story repeating. That feels kind of forced. Otherwise it is fantastic! Keep up the good work!

there is no need of not mary in this fic ,avatar will be enough rival , already tanya misuderstoods things greatly and with so many rival and problems , interference by being x it will be just like cannnon defeat will be invietable.

This great, very well written, about the appearance of Mary, it goes well because being X is so mean to send her to face Tanya again, I never understood that viceral hatred that Mary had towards Tanya, that is to say, her father is a military man at the time of war and that translates to killing or being assassinated and well Tanya does not imagine that Zuko is afraid of her, and how was the matter of Zuko's exile ?, and it would also be interesting to read the point of view of others towards Tanya (Zuko, Azula and iroh) also I think that Tanya is seeing with rose-colored glasses, I hope to read you soon continue with the good work
