Okay, I have to ask: If you can craft a heroine as vivid, sympathetic, and appealing as Daphne Greengrass is here, what is it that makes you want to contrive such a grotesquely unbelievable caricature of the Harry Potter world to subject her to? Yes, I get that you want her and Harry to have a damsel-and-knight relationship, but surely there are ways you could get that without asking us to believe that the same society systematically degrades women at every turn *and* trains them for a minimum of five years in magical self-defense?

The actually isn't an Epilogue. It flows from the last chapter, it follows the last immediately, so should just be another chapter

Holy shit...

I found this one in a review on a different story, but I absolutely fucking love it. I'm still very new to the entire Haphne stuff but I'm absolutely in love with everything I've seen so far. You manage to make both the main characters reasonable and realistic, without making them crazy overpowered and I just love it. It took me one night in bed and one morning to read this, and I'm already extremely sad it's over xD

I hope your other story is as good as this one, but with this being the first one, it's very promising indeed...

This . . . this was simply one of the best fanfics which I have ever read - and I have read hundreds, if not thousands. Admittedly, I enjoyed your story so much partly because I am a fan of well-written Haphne stories. But also, you had many good lines which were laugh-out-loud funny, far more than I find in most stories (for one small example, that bit about "added 'grisly death' to my Hogwarts graduation requirements" - *and* you spelled "grisly" correctly).

The Harry-Daphne interactions felt in character, both for canon Harry and fanon Daphne. And, as others have said, Tori was adorable.

One of the previous reviewers said that Harry was too pussy-whipped. I find this totally ridiculous. Sure, some other authors have written stories with a far more . . . *assertive* Harry. But your interpretation of his behavior was completely canon-justifiable. This is a part of who he is. It's like reading a fic with early Hermione as a main character, and then complaining because she likes books too much, or nags Harry and Ron. Didn't these readers see the warning label? :-)

Anyway, thank you very much for writing this.
