Surely the Blacks owned other property? Couldn't he have just told her that Dumbles is using it so it would be a bad idea to go to that place?

I'm surprised how calm Ron took Daphne being Harry's girlfriend.

I have to agree with Harry; Hermione still has her rose-tinted glasses, even after five years at Hogwarts.

I'm glad Draco paid dealy for using Unforgivable, unlike canon.

Hermione is a harpy. She thinks that she is morally superior to everyone, criticizing the decisions of others, without considering that not everyone has an easy life.

This was really great. Perfect pacing, perfect length for the story. I wish more people would follow your example and start the story they want to tell at the point where they want to tell it.

And how crazy is it that you had 3 epilogues that all managed to be less self-indulgent than the canon epilogue, and actually less self-indulgent than pretty much any other epilogue I remember reading.
