Nice update. As someone mentioned, the dating plan can be a little risky to carry on for 2 years ("why hasn't she got the prophecy from him yet?")...or, actually, it may be find to tell her the prophecy at this point now that I think of it so maybe they can make it work by him passing on "secrets" from time to time. Like the family dynamic between the three of them.

The risk with the Draco part of the plan was low but this new part with Nott is less predictable. He's more clever than Draco (who set that bar pretty low) and the ruse has to last longer. That might not be a total success. The way that Harry played Dumbledore and especially McGonagall was brilliant though. I like the ending though, it sounded like it should have been uncomfortable but you made it seem cozy.

You do a good job of showing just what pieces of shit both Dumbledore and McGonagall are.
Both so eager to forgive and protect known rapists, murderers and terrorists while throwing innocents under the bus and accusing others without the slightest shred of proof.
Or is it only Harry who gets treated like that? Maybe they should see the reaction to Draco's death from the other 3/4 of Hogwarts students. Those he assaulted and bullied while protected by the staff.

Dumbledore could see Draco crucio someone and turn around and blame the victim for Draco's error of judgement, with McUsless doing nothing but supporting the bearded wanker.

No wonder Voldemort was winning so easily.

Excellent chapter! Enjoyed seeing Sirius at King's Cross Station in the 'in between' scene. I think he would have been a much better choice than Dumbledore was in canon, although you did mention that Sirius was sticking around... Perhaps that's the reason why Dumbledore was there... He didn't want to deal with what would be a very, VERY angry redhead. Hmmm. Interesting. I like this little tidbit. Also glad to see Harry on the ball about the house elves, even after dying. And not being mad at Daphne. Love his solution for dealing with Draco, likely soon to be no-name, and cleaning up all of the evidence. Harry's definitely a closet Slytherin! Speaking of closets, also enjoyed the broom closet bit. Too funny seeing Daphne turn Hermione red with embarrassment. And, of course, very pleased to see the both of them head straight back into the broom closet at the end! Loved it! Update soon please! Can't wait to see what's next!
