I actually DON'T like an open ending in a story this big AND a one-shot.
I also agree that it turned up being kinda even worse than the canon shiit.
And not only for Taylor, mind you.
For one, several people who actually survived in the canon, didn't here - and not only those who were directly mentioned.
Also, while I understand it being a deliberate author plot trick, several people have had their brains being ejected even more so than in the canon.
Overall, it would be a good story writing-wise, but it's way too dark for me to ever like it.
Period.

An interesting story with several firsts for me in Worm Fanfics. Killin off the Undersiders and Danny was sad. In many ways this was a worse world than canon, though not from Taylor's efforts, just how everyone reacted to her at their worst.

I too will hope for a happy ending for her, one that allows her to be the hero she wants to be.

this was fantastic from start to finish. i'd definitely read a continuation where swarm and shatterbird wreck shit up. it's a fun idea i've never seen done in this fandom.

This was a great one-shot. I like how you left the ending up to the reader's imagination. I choose to believe that the prt worker and her work together to claim the bounties and she finally gets the justice and recognition that she deserves. Take care.

I can imagine a few messages that could be put out:
"PRT too broke to pay Slaughterhouse Nine Bounties"
"Director Piggot SH9 fan. Arrests Hero for stopping them."
Maybe something about Piggot trying to steal the bounties for herself.

I'd imagine some the the Trimvirate might show up, once they heard the SH9 died in Brockton Bay. And given that she's been there for a few days... Legend would be pretty pissed off as well.
