Reviews for Harry Potter: The Rise |

![]() ![]() ![]() Okay major 4th wall breaks in this chapter and in a bad way, While we are readers to this chapter, the letter that is written by Regulas Black is written for Sirius/ the next hier likely here while you ready this Regulus rambles on to you the reader about his morals and thoughts, which could also go to "Harry" but it clearly seems to be written to us the readers.[Basicaly this gives us the reader of the mentality of Regulus black but it is basically substittuting the idea of The mystry or Regulues and just gives us the Answer that this is regules and this is what he thinks] THe letter should have been more personalised and more vague to keep the mystry of Regulus. But its cool, other parts of the book is good |
![]() ![]() ![]() i dont like that he just forgave ron and hermione they really werent strong armed at all lol stupid |
![]() ![]() ![]() Dumbledore is such an arrogant, self-righteous hypocrite. All he cares about is his damn plans for the greater good; he doesn't care who he uses and is so eager to have everything under his control that once things don't go his way he becomes angry and uses others. Who the hell made Dumbledore a god to decide what should and should not happen? People are not weapons or chess pieces for him to move around when he likes. He and Voldemort are no different from each other. I say Dumbledore doesn't die in Book 6. When Voldemort is defeated, Harry and Sirius force him to take a magical vow that stipulates he leaves them alone and never talks to them again. Also, Harry and Daphne leave Hogwarts and forbid their children from attending the school to punish Dumbledore for all he's done. Blacken his name. I like how Harry is becoming independent and powerful. Keep it up! The boy must grow more powerful than Dumbledore and Voldemort. . .it is the only way he will truly be free. Once they are no longer a problem and out of the picture, he will be free to live his life. As for the Dursleys, I say you punish them. Put tha fat waste of space Vernon and his horseneck bitch of a wife in prison. Send that useless piece of shit they call a son to St. Brutus and have him put on a diet. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the opening. Harry’s decisions are reasonable. Even better they are dorward looking |
![]() ![]() ![]() i see you involved the weasleys for no reason. why would they even be on the muggle side. telling stranfers all his house buisness and personal goals. talking to adults like hes sipping whiskey at a cigar bar. |
![]() ![]() ![]() gentle brush of her dress against his. Not slash or trans, but hints at transVESTITE Harry(his.../dress implied) : ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, maybe not have that spiderman "with great power comes great responsibility", but Sirius has that "spidey sense" family magic thing going. Interesting side details, upgraded Ron AND Sirius(including prior, how he'd handle the now dead Fawley, differently) |
![]() ![]() Interesting. Ron voiced some of my thoughts *plus some*. Confess to Harry. Hermione's "had to feed them something", not bad excuse for the blabbing. *Plus some*: feeding Dumbledore info to keep him from digging, thinking he's got Ron/Hermione pawn spies in place. Not bad Ron. Character gets promotion points. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Super fire spell a bit of a letdown. Forgot if fic promised no killing off Sirius with the AK. Thought of Sirius jumping into the AK. |
![]() ![]() ![]() A single spell capable of annihilating a dementor is nothing short of terrifying. Reminds me, don't think put in review. Maybe I read too quick. But later thought was very unclear of wtf done to how many dementors (#fled, or burned, or erased). Plus the "meeting" which emphasized slapping down Umbridge. At that time, was thinking, that IF Harry had destroyed some dementors, surely you'd have if not Fudge, Umbridge raging about Ministry's property, pet demons being culled. Well, Ron at least, in more detail, dropped what thought Bill might have done...pretend to postulate about Dumbledore trait of hording info, maybe that is why Harry distrusts him... Shame, I assumed Ron rinsed off rat in lake. A rat or human, better on foot than water. Whether Ron had to take a swim also or not, knocking rat into lake would have been good capture strategy. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like these types of stories. |
![]() ![]() ![]() she stated, her eyes flickering towards Harry for a brief moment. Harry left scene, with Tracy, Daphne, Astoria. Me not keeping track, or possibly inconsistency in jargon regarding Harry being Lord or heir or ?head? ...of House Potter & House Black...plus minutia of who is proxy for House in Wizengamot(or ?holds? Votes) or is acting Regent etc. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Rita blackmail seems a bit weak. Andromeda admits a bluff? So why Rita not renege, back out of the deal. No vow, no contract. Although, one might try flying the threat, that double crossing House Black a bad idea. Bluff: "clever spell that can reveal someone's true form." As an aside: Regardless of exo-7Books canon & fanon. There's the canon (eg. Such as shrieking shack book 3, forcing rat to un-transform back into human form). |
![]() ![]() ![]() what type of busy lufe does ron claim to have hes a lazy terrible wizard with a broken wand. he has no personality and few friends. also that line about them assuming he would do as ron did has no backing and just sounds like headcannon trope shit pushed with no reasoning |
