The plot was a little bit wild and not everything 100% resolved, BUT this story is soo great!
The avengers and Loki, their characterisation, their interactions, I loved every word of it. The way they slowly started to care for Loki and how he was this kind but damaged person who slowly and carefully started trusting, how loyal and protective of his friends he was.
I LOVE your stories so much.

Oh I am so glad they found him! I hope this works out. I loved the cinematic quality of that last scene. It was so powerful - which is really impressive. Not all that much was happening, but it felt like EVERYTHING was happening - if that makes any sense. There was a lot of weight, a lot of suspense, and then a payoff for that, without all that many events actually happening in the scene.

Not that you haven't been building towards this moment since the first chapter, or anything :P

The bit of camera footage Tony found where we actually got to see Frigga take him was horrifying. It's such an interesting thing for me. Most of the time I've seen Frigga painted as the good guy, but there's really not enough evidence in the movies to support that. She could just as easily be this kind of character. It's really not all that hard to see. But the lines about her looking like a golden wraith or gathering power like cobwebs were just really powerful lines. I got a really clear, really awful image of her in my head, and I thought that was neat.

“The Chitauri are not a force to be ignored.” Right. You’re telling that to someone who was literally tortured by the Chitauri. (I know Loki doesn’t exactly remember, but still.)
Typical. Just try to blame someone else for Loki knowing torture spells when it was used on him.
Clint’s theory about Frigga being the one who sent Thor is… terrifying, mainly because it could make sense with the right nudging.
Yikes, poor Clint is misssing three days.
At least they found Thor. Though I have a feeling the relief is going to be short lived.
Love the story so far! You’re one of my favorite authors on FanFiction, keep up the good work! It’s always worth the wait, so no pressure as far as updating.

Oh MAN this chapter was WILD! honestly, I had no idea what was going on. - You described everything beautifully ( by which I think I really mean 'skillfully', as the images expressed are not beautiful), the dialogue was crisp, the ...scene(?) changes were handled really well. Even the emotional resonance was on point.

I think it was after loki's first appearance that I started to wonder about the reality of what was going on. That was really cool. I was so disoriented.

Then the end there, when you showed us what had been happening the whole time! DUDE. I got this cold shock all through my body and I had to re read the line 3 times. Even with your hints i had not guessed. So. Good.

This story is just such an incredible ride. I can't believe how talented you are! :]

I love this sooooooooo much. I love how you portray Loki as a kind, gentle soul before he was mind controlled. Every other ff I've read has him as still cunning and manipulative, but how he was when he was mind controlled was over the top. Please update soon.

The flashback conversation between Loki and Thanos was awful. I can’t even imagine the tortures that Loki endured. Oof. It’s awful to see glimpses of what he went through. The way that Thanos is treating Loki is barbaric, not that I expected anything less of him. Clint seeing (and feeling) all of that must have been so horrible. Clint going in and out of consciousness… Oof. I’m not surprised, though. I really hate Barney, though. I wonder where he’s holding Clint contained. Barney and Clint talking… And the former’s eyes flashing blue. Is he being mind-controlled? I wouldn’t be surprised. Woah. Okay. I didn’t expect the twist of it not really being Barney who is there once Clint woke up, of it being (maybe, maybe not) Loki. I’m so confused, and I want answers! I’m not at all surprised that Clint is beginning to panic, especially when “Loki” started demanding answers about Thor’s whereabouts. I suspect that whoever is behind this is really good at mind magic though, because making Clint think that the Avengers are there and dying because he’s “refusing” to give information that he doesn’t have is a good way of making him break. Also, if Clint wasn’t so emotional, not that I can blame him for being emotional given the situation, he would have caught onto the fact that Loki asking why the Chitauri would want Thor to kill Clint doesn’t make sense, given that it was Loki himself who proposed the theory. Clint seeing “Natasha” die like that, especially when he thinks it’s all real… *sobs* I can’t even imagine how awful that must be for him. I feel like Clint made a huge mistake in reminding “Loki” why the Chitauri want to kill him. Clint having his mind invaded like that was awful. Also, the maybe flashback with Clint and Barney when they were younger, and his brother was actually nice to him hurt so much. I feel awful for Clint. Having someone sorting through his head, trying to find Loki’s memories… Oof. The maybe flashback with Clint and Natasha talking about love was nice. Also, I hate how that person keeps crawling into all of Clint’s memories, trying to find what she wants. The flashes of memories, some real and some feigned… Oof. Given the spell that Loki used to protect the memories, it makes sense that the person can’t get to them. And Clint getting caught rewatching the same scene over and over again must have been so awful. Loki (hopefully, the real one?) finally making an appearance… I’m not surprised that Clint panicked, given all the things he’s seen. I’m glad that Clint woke up finally, and also, I had begun to suspect that it was Frigga. Her using the scepter on him to try and find what she wanted was awful. Loki and Frigga arguing was horrible, but I love how Loki is protecting Clint from her. I can’t even imagine how relieving it must have been for Clint to see the Avengers still alive. I cheered when Natasha punched Frigga. Lol. I cannot wait to see what will happen next! I loved this chapter so, so much! :D:D:D

Wow. I was honestly as confused as Clint when Loki showed up. Then I knew it wasn't actually Loki but then who was it? So glad someone finally punched Frigga! I cannot wait for the next chapter! Keep up the good work!
