This was a really fun one shot. I'd be very interested to see an expansion on it with some of Harry's adventures. Thanks for writing :)

You should write a follow-up with some of the random time loops and random deaths and other random events.

Like pranking Snape in front of the Great Hall, getting Snape arrested for misc. crimes, getting on McGonagall's nerves but disarming her completely by "accidentally" calling her Gran, messing with those who bully Luna, and grabbing Hermione in the middle of the Great Hall and snogging her senseless.

It's almost a shame that Harry didn't end up trying to get that mind protection up sooner; if only to keep more of his pre-loop memories. I would think that the 'defense against mind reading' would be something he would be very much in favor of.

The Harry Potter shown in the end is how a proper experienced Harry should be. Awesome, even if the story was a bit short and without any battles or romance, it still managed to capture the shear potential of a Groundhog Day if you had Magic.
