I think Crack got off two easy. After being cast from Malfoy family Lord Melody should have crucified Track till he was a vegetable then decapitated him. Then his head should have been sent to the synthetic dorms as an example to what happens to pure blood bigots. Yes I'm bloodthirsty in this case. Crack deserves to be punished for what he did. Otherwise great story! Very enjoyable!

If magic actually did so, Diagon Alley couldn't be just off Charing Cross Road, nor could the Ministry be anywhere in London, without becoming an active, ongoing, high level breach of the Statute of Secrecy.

There is a record shop next door to the Leaky Cauldron. if magic disrupted technology, none of the music players that shop sold would work, not in the shop and not after the muggle got them home. Even the electric lights wouldn't work.

Cars driving past on Charing Cross Road would suddenly die and never work again, due to the high concentration of magic.

Even with a full team of Obliviators stationed there 24/7/365, the muggles WOULD notice sooner or later - and probably sooner - that the laws of physics were suspended in that area. Wards might be able to keep muggles away, but there is a public sidewalk right outside the Leaky Cauldron that muggles walk on every day, so it's clearly NOT warded to keep them away.

The only plausible conclusion is that despite what JKR says, magic doesn't disrupt anything by itself, there must be some specific spell or ward that specifically kills electronics, that is cast on places like Hogwarts to keep muggleborn students from bringing electronics there. But since Hermione wouldn't have cast any such ward on her computer, there would be no need to shield her computer from the effects of the runic magic!

Given how Macnair was, Hermione is likely to have werewolves asking for her autograph on the street after that last announcement, heheheh.

It's a bit odd that Sirius wrote down the secret for Harry and Hermione rather than just saying it. There are only two reasons to do that - out of a fear of being overheard when speaking the secret aloud, or so the secret can be shared when the Secret Keeper isn't present. But with the Secret Keeper present and no eavesdroppers in a secure room, there is no reason whatsoever to write the secret down first!
