Heroes and Legends of the East.

First Franchise. Boku No Hero Academia. My Hero Academia.

Second Franchise. Xi You Ji aka Journey to the West by Wu Cheng'en.

Third Franchise, Touhou Project.

It is rated T.

Genre Fantasy/Adventure

Heroes and Legends of the East Part 1: The World of the Story.

The World of the story is a merger of the story of Journey to The West, Touhou Project and My Hero Academia. Stick close to the source material and use Journey to The West as a Template for World Building and for Sun Wukong's past adventures and all of his powers and abilities as well as his old enemies and allies. Do not go with the abridged versions.

I would also look at – A Supplement to the Journey to the West; Dǒng Yuè, a literary spin off of Journey to The West 西遊補, written in 1640 and also – Journey to the South also called by it's native name Nan You Ji, written in the 17th-century for more of Sun Wukong's adventures. I would also look at another spin off for The Legacy of the Monkey King. That being Hou Xi You Ji Later Journey to the West

If you need information on Journey to the West see Journey to the West Research Blog and video's by these people for research purposes.

Journey to the West by Overly Sarcastic Productions. Ten Facts About Sun Wukong the Monkey King by ghostexorcist. The Monkey King by La Volpe. And finally The Monkey King by Extra Credits.
For the Books on Journey to the West for research, see Anthony C. Yu's translation of Journey to The West.

Heroes and Legends of the East Part 2: Izuku's Journey. Izuku Midorya at the age 7 lost his mother and father to a villain attack but he is then taken in by the folks of the Moriya Shrine who are family friends of the Midoriya Family in the story.

However when Izuku finds the Monkey King's staff Izuku meets the legend who felt that Izuku had the heart to be a hero but he needed the power to do so and Wukong gave him a watered down version of his abilities. Eventually Izuku also gains One For All after saving Bakugou Katsuki and proving himself to All Might.

For reference on how strong Sun Wukong should be in the story See DEATH BATTLE! Hercules VS Sun Wukong.

Izuku goes down the events of my Hero Academia and also some elements from Journey To the West retold as some of the Great Sages that Sun Wukong made an alliance with on Flower Fruit Mountain also return to either be secondary mentors and allies for Izuku and his team and friends or as villains for Izuku and the gang to face.

But eventually the events of the story start to deviate from cannon as more elements of Journey to The West Media being to appear in the story. For example look at Monkey King Reborn and Lego Monkie Kid. And eventually we get some Touhou Elements such as the various Touhou Project Media such as the Touhou Project official Manga series.

Heroes and Legends of the East Part 3: Izuku and the Team's Powers and Adversaries.

When you go into cannon Izuku not only gains the powers of One For All after proving himself to All Might but Izuku also as his first taste of the life of a Hero and also gains a watered down copy of the powers of Sun Wukong from Journey to The West from the Monkey King himself.

Izuku after he is done training with Sun Wukong has mastered some of his powers. Izuku has the speed of the Monkey King, Telekinesis, can ride on clouds, Transform into anything, make duplicates from his hair and also has a nearly invulnerable body and has the strength to move Mountains and use One For All at it's best. But that is not all.

Izuku under the guidance of The Monkey King also trains in the Tiger, Monkey, Crane, Snake, Leopard, Mantis, and North and South Dragon Styles of Shaolin Kung Fu.

South Dragon Style is a mashup of the various Shaolin Animal Styles. Students work on a paired striking blocking exercise and practice form techniques. North Dragon Style is different. While there are many martial arts that require acrobatic leaps, dynamic athleticism, or the strength to break boards, bricks, or other inanimate objects, Northern Dragon is not one of those arts.

Northern Dragon teaches students to stay firmly rooted on the ground, and with good reason. Being grounded to the earth allows the generation of power from the feet on up. What this means is that as an art firmly rooted in the earth, the main physical concern will be building up the strength and endurance in your legs and core muscles that will allow you to maintain a stance for longer and longer periods of time. That’s why its a practice; a discipline. Anyone can do it given the commitment to the practice.

Also for reference on how strong Sun Wukong should be in the story See DEATH BATTLE! Hercules VS Sun Wukong.

Izuku Midoriya getting a watered down form of the Monkey King's powers also has a side effect. It causes Izuku to grow a green monkey tail and also has emerald green monkey fur across his body.

Izuku's friends and surrogate family also have Quirks along with the mystical powers of the Pilgrims from Journey to the West.

But despite all these powers and new skills their are negatives. Izuku and the gang have to deal with more enemies. As not only does Izuku have to face All for One and his lackeys and the other Villains from My Hero Academia but Izuku and the gang also have to face monsters from all of East Asia's Folklore but also all the old enemies of Sun Wukong some of whom have returned from the dead to try and take over the world and get revenge on Sun Wukong.

Also Izuku must struggle to master One For All and his new Mystic Monkey powers given to him from Sun Wukong and also learn to restrain and control himself when using them.

Also some of the Great Sages that Sun Wukong made an alliance with on Flower Fruit Mountain also return to either be secondary mentors and allies for Izuku and also as some enemies for the Monkey Squad to be closer to text of Journey to The West.

Heroes and Legends of the East Part 4: Pairings and character portrayals. Everything is like in the official media including ships so no Gender bending or changing sexuality. Everyone is as cannon like as possible.

Heroes and Legends of the East Part 5: All Might's fall and the Monsters Rise. When All Might and All For One are taken out of the picture all the secrets get out and magic makes a resurgence and the Hero World will need someone who has a foot in both worlds. Also Monsters from all of East Asia's folklore make a come back and the world is terrified of what lies in the dark. This gets the attention of Gensokyo and it is here where Izuku comes in as he has a foot hold in both worlds and has to hold the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Then things get even worse. The Demon Bull Family makes a return and they are a major threat another down side is that Youkai from Japan's folklore make a return and also Yaoguai(Demons)from China. And they will all want to eat Izuku as they will want to gain immortality and they think eating him will do the job. Some new Villains will also want to try to steal All for One from him and also people will try to steal Izuku Midorya's Mystical Monkey powers.

Another is that some of the Students of U.A High become slaves to the bad guys but some do so willingly and others just want to get new powers and some of the students also gain the abilities of some of the villains from Journey to the West.

Also the Demon Bull Family take over Japan and The Bull Demon King takes all of All For One's powers and takes over his criminal empire. The Bull Demon King eventually becomes a bigger monster than what he was before.

This causes Izuku to seek out new powers to save the day and grow in power. And when Izuku is looking for help he meets up with the rest of the cast in Gensokyo who further push him to master his powers from One For All and Sun Wukong but nearing the end of this journey Izuku eventually gains Enlightenment Super Powers.

Under the Vestiges he masters the Quirks of his predecessors but for his training to find Enlightenment please see the various Buddhist meditation practices and Sutras and the Shaolin Monks training regiment and religious Taoist practices.

This causes Toyotomi no Miko to also train Izuku in the ways of the Taoist Sages and Taoist Immortals to have her try and show Byakuren up and prove her training is better and for Izuku to reach new levels of physical strength and new levels of mystical power by eventually gaining more enlightenment super powers and he also gains Danmaku skills and also Spell Cards that reflect Izuku's journey in this story.

The obvious Enlightenment Super Powers for Izuku are Psychic Powers like: Astral Projection and Telepathy. But he gains more power as the training must be physically intense as well because Izuku also trains his body to incredible lengths of power. Because of this training and finding Enlightenment Izuku ends up unlocking a Healing Factor as well.

Now here is the last of the mystical abilities that Izuku gets. You must look at Onmyōdō (meaning "the Way of Yin and Yang"). Onmyodo is Japanese-style spell-casting. From Onmyodo Izuku's new abilities range from controlling the energy of Yin and Yang, Manipulate the Five Elements, control shikigami, learn divination, to using ofuda and alchemy for the last of the mystical abilities that Izuku should get as Izuku is Japanese. Izuku learns that art of magic from Yukari Yakumo.

Now to symbolize this growth their must be a physical and spiritual transformation to Izuku's growth as a character. When Izuku masters himself and all of his powers he undergoes another transformation. After reaching enlightenment Izuku resembles a Green haired version of Dislyte's Tang Xuan/Sun Wukong with a Green Monkey Tail and Izuku gains all of the powers of Dislyte's Tang Xuan/Sun Wukong.

But here is the downside. Izuku has an even bigger target on his back. One Youkai will want to eat him even more as they will want to ascend to a higher rank as that is what happens if a Youkai eats a Taoist Intermediary. The Yokai gain greater power and ascend to a higher rank in the cosmos in East Asian Folklore and in Touhou Taoist intermediaries(Not full Immortals)have to deal with the Shinigami going after their hide. Same goes for Izuku

But Izuku after his mystical training not only has to worry about some Youkai trying to eat him but because he has One For All people some people want him for his Quirk so Izuku gets involved in the power plays of Gensokyo and also All For One must wonder how Izuku got new powers aside from One For All's users. This causes Izuku to work to keep Gensokyo secret when people go snooping.

Heroes and Legends of the East Part 6: Please make sure that the story happens before some of the events of the Touhou Project games and before some of the official written works so you can implement them.

Here is a list of the written Touhou Project works.

Six artbooks have been released containing Touhou Project material. Each of these artbooks has a different theme; for example, Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red focuses on characters, while The Grimoire of Marisa is solely dedicated to different kinds of spell cards. It should be noted that Seasonal Dream Vision is semi-official; it is more of a compilation of comics from various authors, along with an original story written by ZUN himself.

I have a challenge for you that you may like.

The Dragon and The Cardcaptor.

Franchise Number 1. Spyro the Dragon.

Franchise Number 2. Cardcaptor Sakura.

The Genre is Fantasy/Adventure.

It is Rated K to T.

The Dragon and The Cardcaptor Part 0: Character Portrayals and Character Roles. Treat the Characters and the story itself like it is an official work. Spyro in his current life has to resemble his Spyro Reignited Trilogy self, (the re-imagined version of Spyro that was remade with the classic games)in terms of appearance and personality but must eventually grow and matures into a character that is in terms of personality a perfect mixture of his Legend of Spyro persona and his Spyro Reignited self in terms of personality.

For Sakura Kinomoto, keep her as cannon as possible and so are her allies and friends. Everyone is as they are like in cannon. But everyone grows for the better. Spyro and Sakura also meet and become friends on the spot.

Spyro ends up being one of the two leaders of the team with the other being Sakura Kinomoto. Hunter is the warrior after growing in skill, Sheila the Team Mom, Bentley the Yeti is the Muscle, The Professor and Bianca are the mystical brains, and Keroberos the mischievous but wise and friendly guide to the cast. Agent Nine and Blink The Mole are the Gunmen and explorers, Syaoron a rival turned reluctant ally and also Sakura's love interest who ends up helping to teach Sakura and the Spryo cast their paths of magic with Sakura also branching out from just using her Clow Card skills. Now Sakura and Spyro being the heart and spirit of the group as the teams leaders.

The Dragon and the Cardcaptor Part 1: Sakura and Spyro's powers. Spyro has to have all the powers he has in the Legend of Spyro Trilogy and The entire Classic Spyro series including the various weapons and equipment Spyro can use from the Spyro Classic series, The Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and The Legend of Spyro Series. Spyro also gains all the powers that Spyro also has in the Skylanders series of games and Skylanders: Academy including the various forms and breaths Spyro has in all the official series. Spyro also has to keep all the abilities he obtained throughout his various adventures and master them and without being corrupted by his power.

For Sakura and the rest of the Cardcaptors you can have Sakura and her friends have powers that are a mixture of both the various Card Captor Anime and Manga with some originality with the Cardcaptors learn new abilities after meeting Spyro and interacting with his friends or going to the worlds that Spyro has traveled to and along with meeting Spyro's Friends.

The Dragon and the Cardcaptor Part 2: Story Arc's. Their have to be Story arcs based on the Legend of Spyro Trilogy and it should also have story arcs centered around these Classic Spyro games(with some originality):

Classic Game Number 1. The original Spyro the Dragon.

Classic Game Number 2. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage.

Classic Game Number 3. Spyro: Year of the Dragon

Classic Game Number 4. Spyro the Dragon: A Season of Fire

Classic Game Number 5. Spyro the Dragon: A Season of Ice

Classic Game Number 6. Spyro The Dragon: Attack of the Rhynocs!

Classic Game Number 7. Spyro: A Hero's Tail(No fourth wall breaking on this part or any part of the story period).

Classic Game Number 8. Spyro: Shadow Legacy.

Sakura Kinomoto has to go down some of these arcs with Spyro when they meet and Spyro helps Sakura Kinomoto on her path to her destiny as Card Captor as they go down the events of the Cardcaptor Anime and Manga including some of the Cardcaptor movies.

The Dragon and the Cardcaptor Part 2: The Dragons and World Building. The Dragons for the Spyro side of the crossover have to be a mixture of both the Dragons of The Legend of Spyro series and the Classic Spyro The Dragon series in design and back story. The dragons from the classic series are related to the dragons from The Legend of Spyro Series Dragons. The Dragon Realms of The Legend of Spyro are the ancient past of the Dragon Realms of the Spyro the Dragon world in the Forgotten Realms. For how the Dragons look, look at Spyro The Dragon: Reignited Trilogy and The Legend of Spyro series.

The World of Spyro is part of the CLAMP Multiverse and Spyro during his first adventure is sent to Sakura's World where he meets Sakura. This gets the attention of the mystics of the Clamp Multiverse.

If you do some world building involving the Legend of Spyro past, you need to look at some of the scrapped ideas and see if they can be implemented in the story.

For example look at the art galleries in Dawn of the Dragon. The scenery gallery shows far bigger and detailed levels, and several dozen scrapped ones.

Here is more. The producers revealed that the entire purpose of The Legend of Spyro was to re-establish the characters and the world in a way that would allow growth and expansion, and more potential games based on the trilogy were planned, but Activision wanted to take the franchise in a different direction.

Jared Pullen, the lead artist of LoS, did a Q.A. on some of the stuff they never got around to implementing or building upon: Dragon eggs take decades to hatch, and may remain dormant for a long time until conditions are right for hatching.

Krome Studios reasoned that perhaps Spyro's egg was laid a very long time ago while Malefor was still free and kicking, laying dormant during the hard times 'waiting for destiny' to find the time of hatching until Ignitus releases it down the river. However this was never fleshed out. Also ideas for a subsequent plot about potential surviving dragon eggs and Dragon hatchlings characters were thought about, but Krome Studios never got past the design phase to flesh them out.

The development team was considering revealing the identity of Spyro's biological father, and was halfway split between two candidates for this role — Ignitus or Malefor, with the latter being made possible by the long potential dormancy of dragon eggs. The original intent was for hints towards one parentage or the other to be dropped through the games, and for Malefor to use this knowledge to taunt Spyro during their final battle. In the finished game, this only remains in the form of Ignitus' design having been modeled to resemble Spyro's and in his role as a mentor figure for Spyro.

If adult female dragons had appeared in the Legend of Spyro series they would have been even more slender than adult Cynder was, as adult Cynder was apparently rough around the edges due to being artificially aged up.

There was also intended to be another dragon around Spyro and Cynder's relative age named Pyra out there, who had been Ignitus's squire, who was separated from him during the war against the Apes, and became stranded on a deserted island.

There would have been six natural elements in the world — the four present in gameplay, plus wind and water; Cynder's natural element was intended to be wind, and Cyril was originally intended to be the female Guardian of water. Pure shadow, fear, and poison dragons also exist, but they aren't natural, and are the result of a "dark entity" instead of the "light" one responsible for the pure ones. Jared later confirmed in the intended story draft that something much more powerful than Malefor corrupted him.

According to Jared, Cynder joining the temple after being saved by Spyro was supposed to be a point of contention among the Guardians, with Cyril being the most vocal dragon against it. It wasn't until Ignitus stood up for her did they finally accept her. Time constraints however, kept this detail from being known until years later with the Guardians never stating their opinions on Cynder's return to the temple in the games proper.

Also The elemental wheel used to power up elements in the games was originally supposed to be an actual object Spyro would have encountered in game, but time constraints forced them to axe that for the system in the games.

The "Convexity" breath is actually called Aether and is the source of purple dragon's powers. It can exist in light and dark forms, and is the very fabric that makes of the reality of the TLoS universe. Aether is incredibly powerful, and when properly mastered a dragon in control of it can do practically whatever they want and can even permanently De-power a dragon of their element, or bestow other elements onto dragons who already have one.

The Dragon and the Cardcaptor. Part 4: Parings. Spyro has to hookup with Cynder, obviously when you bring in more Legend of Spyro Elements. Hunter get's with Bianca like in classic cannon, Bentley the Yeti can get with Elora the Faun, and Agent Nine can get with Sheila the Kangaroo.

Sakura Kinomoto gets with Syaoran Li.

The Dragon and the Cardcaptor. Part 5: The crew. For Spyro's posse all of Spyro classic allies as his comrades in arms with The Dragon Elders and maybe the Dragon Guardian's spirits aiding Spyro in mastering his powers from the Legend of Spyro series and with the Dragon Elders from the classic series training Spyro to master his classic powers and the powers that Spyro has from the Skylanders series. Cynder also has to appear and act as Spyro's love interest and have the powers that she has in Skylanders and also The Legend of Spyro Trilogy.

Also the Spyro crew obtain new powers from both sides of the crossover and also like in the case of Sparx The Dragonfly from all across the Spyro Franchise.

Sakura has all her supporting Cast, As does Syaoran Li from both the Card Captor Anime series and also the Cardcaptor Sakura Manga series.

The Dragon and the Cardcaptor Part 6: Magic in the story. You have to Merge the systems of Magic from both franchises.

From the Spyro series; Magic is the wave of energy that flows through the universe in the Spyro the Dragon series. It masters the timelines and the outcomes of events, as well as powering the majority of items and objects in the worlds. Some creatures can naturally control the flow of magic such as dragons, fairies and wizards, whilst other creatures will have to learn how to perform magic and others can neither control nor sense it.

Some forces of black magic can block off regular magic or scramble magical signals. Some locations and worlds are in need of magic to function properly, such as the Forgotten Worlds, while some creatures need magic to survive, such as the Sorceress.

For most magic to be performed, there is, in most cases, need of a spell that has to be cast. This is done either by wand or hand and requires strange, mostly Latin, words to be uttered by the caster. This can either be done verbally or non-verbally.

This is a list of magic from Classic Spyro that I could find. They’re maybe more.
Known magic:
Wand magic
Hand magic
Transmogrification
Prestidigitation
Levitation
Universal flow of magic
Teleportation

Purple Dragons are a special breed of dragon; a status that was only introduced in Spyro: Shadow Legacy. Like Spyro, they are a unique dragon species who are gifted with powerful magical energy. It makes sense as the color purple is often associated with royalty, reinforcing the idea that purple dragons have a higher potential for magic.

And from the Legend of Spyro Series we also have Aether which only Purple Dragons or those touched by Aether can use.

Aether surpasses all of the elements of the Dragon Realms. Its strength is equivalent of suns, gravity and the righteous might of passing comets; it is the spiritual matter the very universe is made of and the 'true element' of The Purple Dragon of Legend. Its power resides within its connection to the cosmos and specifically to 'spirit energy'. Relics from an age gone by left by the Ancestors in the form of Spirit Gems allow for an opening to this power on the terrestrial plane, as they stimulate the energy of dragons with a life-covering essence obtained from spirit life-force.

Usage: Aether deals in matters that surpass those of the terrestrial elements and draws on deep powerful magics of ancient celestial origins. It can be harnessed, and it is all about how the element uses energy, as it taps into the very well spring of the Purple Dragon; its spirit, or the spirit of others. In this way, energy can be transferred (as might be in the case of say healing using the 'light' Aether) but other aspects of a dragon's energy can also be transferred. The power of the Purple Dragon is flexible and limited only by the creative prowess of its wielder, so in short, the possibility of Aether affecting the actual color of other elemental breath abilities could happen. After a Purple Dragon acquires the four pillar elements of Fire, Electricity, Ice and Earth, they will be able to tap into the power of Aether.

At critical times, Aether would be the resulting breath a Purple Dragon would use; energy in its purest form and the true power of the Purple Dragon. It has strong connections to light, life, holy might, and cosmic energy. Aether can be projected, moved, repelled, altered and even transferred(as might be the case with a Purple Dragon lending its power or healing another by transferring its own energy). The more energy dealt with, the greater the toll may be for the Purple Dragon that dealt with it. This was demonstrated at the end of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning when Spyro used Aether to defeat Cynder; the strain of using such immense energy left him weak and he temporarily lost his elemental abilities.

Aether can also be used to strip a dragon of their elemental abilities, and purge a corrupted dragon (such as Cynder) from the influence of Dark Aether. While Aether is and was known for controlling the balance of life, its darker form titled as Dark Aether is also in most media referred to as the sixth element or "Nether". Nether is coincidentally created from the spiritual essence of the Well of Souls and depends on the balance of death, thus bringing upon negative effects anywhere in the physical plane such as the incident with Gaul and harming all foes without remorse.

Dark Aether: When Aether is tainted by the effects of dark magic, or if a Purple Dragon becomes corrupted, Dark Aether is born. The influence of Dark Aether can take over and corrupt the consciousness of the Purple Dragon, as seen in The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night when Spyro lost control of his Dark form. A Purple Dragon, or a regular Dragon, corrupted by Dark Aether results in their physical appearance taking on a much darker form, altering their voice and turning their eyes completely white. The effects of Dark Aether can leave a permanent mark on an individual, with Cynder being a prime example as a result of being corrupted under Malefor's Dark Aether. The darkness has a very real taint that stains; it is a tangible thing much like an essence, and it is the well-spring from which poison and fear rises. Only Aether can effectively fight its dark counterpart and counter its effects.

The untamed power of Dark Aether resembles that of an atom smasher; it dismantles a target at the atomic level, literally "unmaking" it. Its magic leaves behind destructive and withering effects. Like regular Aether, when a purple dragon uses a great deal of Dark Aether, such as unleashing a fury attack, they will be left weakened from the strain.

Having lost his way and abandoned his true calling, Malefor embraced the darkness of Dark Aether, which corrupted his physical appearance and voice. Unlike Dark Spyro, Malefor retained full consciousness over his actions and is in complete control over Dark Aether, as evidenced by his visible pupils compared to Dark Spyro and Dark Cynder's vacant white eyes. He used his dark magic to corrupt Cynder into serving him; its power infused by Dark Aether left a permanent mark on her and dark aspects of Malefor's power, including Aether, were inadvertently passed down to Cynder.

Abilities: In the Legend of Spyro the New Beginning. The Aether ability was only accessible during the boss fight with Cynder in the Convexity realm. During the final phase of the battle, Spyro tapped into the power of Aether when he was subjected to the trauma of being threatened by Cynder's Shadow Fire fury attack. Aether looked similar to the Earth breath, but it was purple and seemed to raise the fury bar with each blast, even if it didn't actually hit Cynder. The Aether Fury Attack apparently opens a portal to another dimension, allowing Spyro to summon multiple copies of his head to defeat Cynder.

In The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night the Dark Aether breath was accessible in the second half of the Gaul boss fight, but can be unlocked permanently by completing the five "Dragon Challenges". This breath also comes with the Dark Spyro skin. Along with Spyro, his Aether breath became tainted due to the dark energies of the Lunar Alignment, turning Aether into its Dark form. It is similar to a laser that, when used while flying, causes Spyro to hover and, while hovering, the beam can be aimed. A melee attack can be used as well that is much faster and more powerful than the standard blows and takes the place of the secondary attack, although it only uses a little bit of energy.

Briefly, in a cutscene, the Dark Aether breath has the effect of partially turning Gaul into stone. When Spyro uses the Dark Aether Fury attack, the first wave of the Fury turned Gaul completely into a stone statue before the second burst of the Fury shatters the statue into pieces, killing the Ape King.

In The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon the Aether breath replaces the original four Fury attacks Spyro had and can also be permanently unlocked when all armor pieces from the third set are placed on Spyro or Cynder. However, this breath will drain the mana bar very quickly. During their battle against Malefor, Spyro and Cynder used the power of Aether against him and his power over Dark Aether. In the ending, Spyro used the power of Aether to stop the world's destruction and rebuild it.

We also see Malefor's Dark Aether Breath in The Legend of Spyro, Dawn of the Dragon. In the final boss fight of Dawn of the Dragon, Malefor has power over Dark Aether, which is very different than any breath that the player can control. These abilities include Dark Aether Fire, Dark Aether Comet Dash, Dark Aether Bomb, Dark Aether Breath and Dark Aether Shield (a barrier that protects him from everything except for Aether Breath).

The magic's of the Cardcaptor Sakura series revolve around a mixture of actual eastern and western mystical systems and iconography. Some Magic Users are able to utilize the power of Celestial Bodies and the Elements along with cosmic concepts(an example of such is Sakura drawing power from The Stars)and also we have Symbolism based on Tarot Cards with the Clow Cards. Their is also the Wand of Clow Reed.

You could do a lot with this crossover if you do enough research.

For another example The name "Aether" In The Legend of Spyro series came directly from the Greek word "Aether", pertaining to the air that The Gods of Mount Olympus breath. And in the Legend of Spyro it is the Spiritual Lifeforce of the universe or the material from which the entire universe is made of.

Their are also a ton of mystical artifacts and magical elements from both franchises that can be used in the story as well. From the Classic Spyro series we have the Dragon's, Fairies, Sorcerers, The Talisman's, magic wands, power up gates, Orbs, Mystical Portals, Dragon Eggs, Magic Wands, Magic Spells, and more. While the collecting elements are missing From the Legend of Spyro series we do have magic with the Dragons, The Spirit Gems, Magic Books, Magic Portals to other worlds and multiple planes of existence and also the Dragon Ancestor Spirits.

From The Cardcaptor series we have The Wand of Clow Reed, The Book of Clow, and The Clow Cards.

A Heroes Journey to the West Part 1: The World of the Story.

The World of the story is a merger of the story of Journey to The West, Lego Monkie Kid and My Hero Academia. I would like you to stick close to the source material and use Journey to The West as a Template for further World Building and for Sun Wukong's past adventures and all of his powers and abilities as well as his old enemies and allies. Do not go with the abridged versions.

I would also look at – A Supplement to the Journey to the West; a literary spin off of Journey to The West 西遊補, written in 1640 and also – Journey to the South also called by it's native name Nanyouji, written in the 17th-century for more of Sun Wukong's adventures.

Izuku Midorya at the age 7 lost his mother and his father to a villain attack but is then taken in by Pigsy who along with Mister Tang are family friends of the Midoriya Family in the story. And Mei Dragon is a close childhood friend whom Izuku grows up with along with Bakugo.

Izuku goes down the events of both The Lego Monkie Kid Series but also cannon my Hero Academia. and also some elements from Journey To the West retold as some of the Great Sages that Sun Wukong made an alliance with on Flower Fruit Mountain also return to either be secondary mentors and allies for Izuku and his team and friends or as villains for Izuku and the gang to face.

But eventually the events of the story start to deviate from cannon as more elements of Journey to The West Media being to appear in the story. For example look at Monkey King Reborn.

A Heroes Journey to The West Part 2: Izuku and the Team's Powers and Adversaries.

When you go into cannon Izuku not only gains the powers of One For All after proving himself to All Might but Izuku also as his first taste of the life of a Hero he also goes down the events of the pilot of Lego Monkie Kid and then because of Sun Wukong gains a watered down copy of the powers of Sun Wukong from Journey to The West so as to not become to OP.

For reference on how Strong Sun Wukong should be in the story See DEATH BATTLE! Hercules VS Sun Wukong.

Izuku Midoriya getting a form of the Monkey Kings powers also has a side effect. It causes Izuku to have a Green Monkey Tail and also has Emerald Green Monkey Fur across his body and also toes that can grab things.

But that is not all. Izuku also trains in the Tiger, Monkey, Crane, Snake, Leopard, Mantis, and North and South Dragon Styles of Shaolin Kung Fu.

But when Izuku masters himself and all of his powers he is going to undergo another transformation to show how far he has come as a person. After reaching enlightenment Izuku resembles a Green headed version of Dislyte's Sun Wukong and gains new powers by finding enlightenment.

To do so have Izuku train in the ways of the Taoist Sages and Taoist Immortals for Izuku to reach new levels of physical strength and new levels of mystical power by eventually gaining some enlightenment super powers.

For Izuku's training to find Enlightenment please also see the various Buddhist meditation practices and Buddhist Sutras and the Shaolin Monks and religious Taoist practices.

When Izuku finds enlightenment and also these abilities when he finds enlightenment after facing his demons and obtains Enlightenment at the end of his journey.

Here is a list of superpowers Izuku must gain after finding enlightenment. The obvious ones for Izuku are Psychic Powers like:

Astral Projection, telepathy, and Aura Vision which is eventually merged with Izuku's Gold Vision courtesy of Izuku also eventually awakening the Third Eye. Izuku also ends up unlocking Iron Durability and Super Strength after training in the martial arts.

However I would also look at Saint Seiya and also the character of Virgo Shaka from that series.

The First ability from Shaka Izuku gets is Hāṃ (Kān): A defensive technique that creates a barrier that encircles Shaka's body.

The second ability Izuku gets from Shaka is Tenma Kōfuku (Demon Suppressor): Which expands Izuku's power as a huge blast of energy.

The third ability that Izuku gains from Shaka is Ohm. This Buddhist chant allows Izuku to use the full extent of his power without drawbacks.

The fourth ability is the power to summon and control minor Spirits for multiple purposes.

But that is not all for Izuku developing new powers. You should also you take a look at Onmyōdō (meaning "the Way of Yin and Yang") Onmyodo is Japanese-style spell-casting. From Onmyodo Izuku's new abilities range from controlling the energy of Yin and Yang, Manipulate the Five Elements, control shikigami, and learns divination to utlizing ofuda and alchemy for the last of the mystical abilities that Izuku should get as Izuku is Japanese.

Izuku's friends and surrogate family also have Quirks along with the mystical powers of the Pilgrims from Journey to the West and Lego Monkie Kid.

So do some of the other students of U.A Academy.

But despite all these powers and new skills their are negatives. Izuku and the gang have to deal with more enemies. As not only does Izuku have to face All for One and his lackeys and also the other Villains from My Hero Academia but Izuku and the gang also have to face monsters from all of Asia's Folklore and also all the old enemies of Sun Wukong some of whom have returned from the dead to try and take over the world or destroy it or comeback just to get revenge on Sun Wukong.

Also Izuku must struggle to master One For All and his new Mystic Monkey powers from Sun Wukong and also learn to restrain and control himself when using them.

Also some of the Great Sages that Sun Wukong made an alliance with on Flower Fruit Mountain also return to either be secondary mentors and allies for Izuku and also as some enemies for the Monkie Gang who take the place of some of Lego Monkie Kid's villains to be closer to text of Journey to The West.

A Heroes Journey To the West Part 3: Pairings and character portrayals. No Non cannon Ships. Everything is like in the show including ships so no Gender bending or changing sexualities. Everyone is as cannon like as possible.

A Heroes Journey To the West. Part 4: All Might's fall and the Monsters Rise. When All Might and All For One are taken out of the picture all the secrets get out and magic makes a resurgence the Hero World will need someone who has a foot in both worlds.

Also Monsters from all of East Asia folklore and also Japan's folklore make a come back and the world is terrified of what lies in the dark. That is where Izuku comes in as he has to hold the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Then things get even worse. Another down side is that Youkai from Japan's folklore make a return and also Yaoguai from China. And they will all want to eat Izuku as they will want to gain immortality and they think eating him will do the job. Some new Villains will also want to try to steal One for All from him and also some people will try to steal Izuku Midorya's Mystical and Enlightenment Super Powers.

Another is that some of the Students of U.A High become slaves to the bad guys but some join willingly to get new powers and some of the students also gain the abilities of some of the villains from Journey to the West and also Lego Monkie Kid's Villains as well.
