Hmmm unless your utility magic in some way actually does something if i remember correctly most utility magic is basically the equivalent of a lamp in the dungeon or other thing that magic does that could be done by the primitive tech they have but magic makes it simpler. Useful yes life saving no as for magic ideas op is good considering cannon Bell's weapons are strategically horrible or you could go with enhancement of some kind those are good and would cover his weapon set's horrible
horrible weakness. Utility on the other hand well unless its something that basically gives him a bomb or something else useful attack wise or a shield defense wise it would be a bit useless unless it was a preview to something later and he gets more magic. Yes duel knives is a horrible horrible weapon set as far as practicality is concerned. He should have been dead so many times simply due to his lack of reach its not even funny. I get the original author's rule of cool idea but with his build a spear or crossbow would have been a better option. Hell at least a longsword and knife would have been a better option but then again you have to take his build into consideration and the duel small knives with his build is just a no do no do this plz I beg of to those that counter this saying the knives would allow him to get close Bell's body type makes this not practical as most monsters could simply push him off or parry him easily. Hence a spear or other slender pole arm weapon would work great for him.

This is really really good! I love papa Gareth. Glad to see Bell acknowledge him as his father. Wonder if Ais knows that the OEBD "killed" Bell's grandpa. I love Bell and Ais relationship. I'm happy to see Bell making friends in all sorts of places. I love the Astrea family and hope they don't meet the end at the juggernaut. Can't wait to see Alfia/Zald's reaction to meeting Bell. Thank you so much for all your hard work writing this! I hope you've been doing well.
