Wow! This story really highlights some of the difficult & painful aspects of divorce. And just how important & life changing the decision to marry can be; particularly if we are in a relationship with the wrong person or for the wrong reasons.

You did a good job of characterization with Meredith. I think she must be one of the most selfish people on the planet!

Wow. A lot happened in this chapter. Meredith reveals her true colors, not that we already didn’t know. I like how Kate comforts Castle and reassures him that he’s a good father. And then, Caskett finally make love and it’s glorious.

It’s difficult but both are doing what they need to be together. Meredith is being petty, no surprise there. Glad that Caskett have each other for comfort and support during this stressful time.

I had a feeling Grant would make it difficult. Meredith has some nerve, considering all her extramarital activities. And she’s already showing signs of her selfishness when it comes to Alexis. Castle should definitely get full custody. Nice little scene with him and Alexis at the end. She might not know the whole story, but she knows enough to know her parents (at least her Dad) aren’t happy together. And I wonder how much she knows about Kate when it comes to a relationship with her father. She’s a smart one.
