It's more Mortals/Muggles don't matter bullcrap; similar to Hermione wiping her parents memories without asking, Athena's brainchildren being rape babies, etc.

This was a nice clean chapter. Well written and easy to read. Then again, it's from Hermione's perspective and she would allow nothing else.

There are a fair amount of punctuation errors. Sentences combining because they're missing a period, or using a comma instead of a period to separate things. Hopefully this gets fixed in future chapters but it's something I've noticed in all the chapters thus far.

It's hard to argue with the Voldemort connection, when choosing the wand, especially when you have a piece of Voldemort lingering in your skull. I like the thought of a different Harry having a different wand.

Interesting fight with the basilisk. I equated the ability to the ones rogues/thiefs get in Grimgar that lets them target weak points, mostly because I haven't watched Demon Slayer yet. It's on my Crunchylist though so I'll get to it eventually.

You know, i never understood how Sirius got labled a “mass murderer”. We have serial killers in the states that dwarf that sum let alone mass shooters.
