Wow! This is brilliant. So much beautiful angst and whump. I love the premise of this and your execution of it. I didn’t find the doubles confusing at all; you did an excellent job of keeping everything straight. I think Solomon was an excellent choice for Seto to finally tell. His dealing with it and reacting to Seto is all the more powerful because of their history together with the Blue-Eyes. This story gave me a few late nights :)

This was an amazing story. Full of drama, fun lines and action. I love a good adventure like that.

Pharaoh Yami was fun. He made many mistakes but Seto managed to fix them some in the end. No wounder Seto got the title of Pharaoh, but I thought Mahad was the strongest Priest? You mentioned his name once, but didn't really use him.

I'm grateful for all those elaborate plans too. Iv been needing help with ideas like that!

Iv got some advice for Mokuba though. learn your brother's new heart. You clearly missed a few details sence Battle City. Kaiba would NEVER trade his company for a LIFE. Many times in the past he did things to show it. Trying to stop Marik's Death Duel between Joey and Yugi, but deciding he couldn't or Tea would die. Sending his hated opponent Alister to the hospital with the annoying Rex after bringing his soulless shell out of the crashed plain. Your brother HATES murdering innocent people and you'd do best to remember that young man! You cant be like him if you DONT.

Yami, Yugi Iv got words of warning for YOU as well. Yugi if someone's secret is DANGEROUS, you should tell someone RIGHT AWAY before it's too late. Many suicides occur because someone heard about it, but did not speak up. Also: If your a murderer for killing evil men, dose that make police men or soldiers murderers for doing the same to save lives? You might want to get a new definition on what murder REALLY is. Yours is missing some details hear.

Yami you must NEVER, EVER let anyone keep a DEADLY secret like that. It's a much greater betrayal to keep them then it is to call a doctor or something. You should also tell Yugi how DANGEROUS a secret like that can be for both parties involved. As you've seen hear, it can destroy people from the inside out. Yugi needs to hear that, and I know you know better then that too. Why didn't you correct him? Your smarter and more mechure then that.

I loved how those two behaved inside the Puzzle. Put two hot heads together like that and all Hell really breaks lose! lol!

Yugi's four friends are teased about being ducklings allot though. You probably should have had more of them in hear. I kinda feel that you focused a little too much on Kaiba. I know this story revolves around him, but you shouldn't sideline all the other characters the way you did many times hear. Thats pore story telling so to get better, I encourage you to work on that in the future. You've got some real talent hear. Keep working to be the best you can be!

this was really good and it was fun to see your writing improve as the story progressed. my main bit of concrit for this story is that with the massive issues between seto and gozaburo I would have used setos first name more often rather than referring to him as kaiba, unless it was someone speaking to him who wouldn't call him by his first name. thank you for the read and for going into depth with the issues the characters went through rather than glossing over them like a lot of fanfic authors do.

I know this was first made over ten years ago, but holy moly, I loved it. It was such an adventure and I swear, my breath left me almost completely at the "Yugi is dead" thing. Ah, I have no better words other than I absolutely loved it and I almost feel ashamed. My brain can't even English right now to express my feelings towards this!

wow. you are amazing. i respect your commitment to your craft. i love this story. i do not hate you for writing Seto and Yugi with this plot in mind. this is yours, and you were able to tell a story that most writers would shy away from. thank you for the patience and time that you've made. 400 chapters and years of hard work! i am glad to have found you! kudos!

Oh my gosh this fanfic is like a timecapsule! I wonder if you even check this site anymore haha. I just had to comment how cute it is that you put Boulevard of Broken Dreams in here because you had heard it for the first time on the radio.
This fanfic should be considered a classic. A perfect classic. I wonder if it is in the yugioh fandom? I wonder how I would find that out... Anyway, it's amazing and perfect and wonderful and thanks for writing it and keeping it here for someone like me who was WAY too young to read it when it was originally written.
