Just a sugesstion- don't use so may parentheses. They are annoying. They could easily be replaced with commas or aren't needed in the first place. Also, I don't think your Draco is very in charachter. I don't know, he just doesn't sound right, and neither does Harry. Also, your plot is a little cliche, been done a million times. This is not a flame, but constructive criticism.

The contents of Narcissa's Howler were quite different than what I expected. I'm more partial to a cold, vindictive Narcissa, but this one works as well.

Ron playing chess with Narcissa should prove to be interesting. My vote goes to Cissa winning, as Ron in general tends to get on my nerves.

I can't think of what Draco would get Harry for a present. I agree, most fics always seem to have the cliched snake or lion theme (my favourite being the snakes *g*). Maybe something Quidditch related? Though that's probably been done to death as well -_- .

I don't know why I never saw it when it was updated before) Anyway, as it's been a while and there are quite a few chapters that I needed to read and I can't do it all tonight *pout* I thought I'd review what I've read and that I'm still here, jsut temporarily lost. I loved the chapters and tell your beta her love scene was very nice and tasteful. Draco's date for Harry was so cute and I agree with Hermione, I wish someone would do something like that for me! *_*
