I don't understand how he can be utilizing his powers so horribly. He has access to an entire runic language and his only spells are fire, ice, wind, explosion, etc. What an utter waste of potential. Not only that, but he grossly underutilizes his Earthbending powers, hasn't even attempted to manipulate Arcane magic directly in any way but an unconcentrated blast from his mouth, and he hasn't even tried to use ANY regular Earthland magic! He can supposedly manipulate Arcane magic in any way he can imagine and has an instinctive grasp of regular magic, yet he hasn't utilized EITHER of these skills AT ALL. Frankly, his combat potential is abyssmal with his lackluster intelligence.

Also, it seems that he has become a glorified pet cat for the main cast of Fairy Tail and doesn't have ANY problems with that...AT ALL! He's a grown (assumed) human man turned into a majestic royal dragon...turned into a domestic house cat (he is 'cute' and freaking PURRS...if the shoe fits, as they say).

I'm so utterly disappointed in this MC I don't even know if I can continue. The system and basic plot is great. Even the writing quality is good, but the sheer stupidity and uselessness of the MC is just appalling. Grown ass men are not supposed to be content pretending to be docile house cats. DRAGONS are supposed to be prideful and ambitious (at LEAST in hording). THIS MC, however, is perfectly content being a domestic house cat that lingers around the REAL protagonists with no real goal at all. He doesn't even plan on changing the plot of Fairy Tail (only a few minor things, according to him)!

So he isn't asexual...he just isn't attracted to humans. Alright, that leaves like 2 or 3 love interests (female dragons) that I know of in the entirety of Fairy Tail. All of which are centuries older that him, at the least. Honestly, I don't see how he will be able to deal with this situation. Is he going to be an eternal virgin?

Man, I gotta say, his character creation is straight up trash. He won't be able to speak with anyone other than dragons for at LEAST a decade, has no access to a humanoid form, is cursed to be supernaturally loyal to anyone RANDOMLY, AND will always have a foe that matches him in power regardless of his strength. Just the supernaturally enforced loyalty trait ALONE would have made me scrap the whole character and start over.

Honestly? It seems like the MC is a complete dumbass. The 'novelty' of being a dragon is sure to wear off within a year and he will have no way of changing it for SEVERAL years. Typically only ADULT dragons would have access to a human form (IF they ever gained access to one AT ALL), which means at least 100 years of being stuck in that form. I'm sure you will eventually give him a (most likely undeserved) shapeshifting ability or something but the fact that he just POTENTIALLY gave up human/humanoid companionship, aka sex, for at LEAST 100 years is ridiculous. Does he have some dragon or reptile fetish perhaps? Surely he isn't just asexual, right?

That isn't even mentioning the fact that he won't even be able to SPEAK to other humans/humanoid races for 10 to 15 YEARS. I feel like he is being EXTREMELY optimistic about dragon to dragon communication. What if no other dragon even WANTS to talk to him, in favor of sleeping, hording, and fucking, as is their typical nature? Dragons are solitary creatures in most fantasy settings, so he has just POTENTIALLY forfeitted ALL meaningful social interaction for at LEAST a decade. Just seems like a pretty stupid risk to take when you have so many better options.

Aside from the character creation nightmare, he ALSO completely forget about his [Earthbender] perk during the fight with those skeletons. He has an Eidetic Memory, so I am completely stumped on why he was acting so stupid during that fight. He legitimately seemed to think that his only options were runes or melee brawling; which seems extremely stupid considering his Caster based class would be weak in melee combat, without the use of his magic.

Overall, I have to say that this first chapter has utterly disappointed me. Between horrible decision making abilities, lack of foresight, an apparent addiction to high stakes gambling, and his inability to remember things despite having an Eidetic Memory, the MC is shaping up to be very disappointing. I will try to stick it out for a few more chapters, to see if it gets better, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

I'd come here to say that I like your work so far and is looking forward to more chapters in the future but I'd also lost plenty of motivation to read this and not saying I will stop reading since this is still good but just releg6to thr side.

I was literally hoping for Ymir to be added to pairings or harem if this is one but ended up dissatisfied when mc said he wasn't interested in humans which sucks since one motivation for me is pairings and you not including Ymir as lover sucks since she's rarely used and could have made this a bit more unique since their is no fics that I'm aware of currently that involves her as a lover with a gamer or waifu catalogs. So yeah, a major lost of motivation right there and I'll take a break from this currently but looking forward to how this turns out furthet.

I can only feel sad for your loss. Having to bury one's child is not something a parent should ever experience. But live is seldom fair and these things happen, we can only accept the fact that it had happened and continue moving forward.

Take time to grief and heal my friend, eventually the pain will dull and you can move on. Maybe in the future you can even tell your future kids that they would've had an elder sibling had things turned out differently. It'd be an interesting story for them that's for sure.

On the bright side, at least the child you would've had won't experience how shitty this planet is right now. Maybe wait a few years for things to calm down before trying for another one? That's what I'd do, if I had a significant other that is.
