How can a fic published in 2022 still say that the first Uchihas came from the Hyuuga clan? Like, seriously dude or gal, have you even watched Naruto at all?

Ok. Short lesson, then.
Hagoromo was the Sage of the Six Paths. His brother was Hamura. Hyuugas are descendants of Hamura. Hagoromo had two sons, one of which is Indra. Uchihas are descended from Indra. So, no. Uchihas did not come from the Hyuuga clan. That's such a stupid thing to say. If it worked like that, then the Hyuuga clan would be breeding their new Uchiha slaves constantly. Because why wouldn't they?
