I agree that your story doesn't make sense no matter what people who like it say.

how is Naruto related to...Naruto? he's an oc.

if you had mixed To Love-Ru x Tokyo Revengers together, Rito being a member of Toman, Takemichi or a TR character it would have made sense.

somewhat similar to the plot of Tokyo Revengers, Rito goes through time to return to the past and "correct" the future.

Now that would have been believable than "oc Naruto" in To Love.

I agree with Rex and disagree with Phantom Thief on the points mentioned.

Rito could very well be the only mc without Naruto being involved (well, just because the manga is called Naruto doesn't mean he has to be the mc all the time). or be one of the two mcs along with Naruto.

the harem seems like a cheap excuse to write Rito off mostly.
the scenes with Lala, just copy on the original. this seems to be recurrent in most To Love-Ru stories.

the best thing would be to actually choose yourself and not let the readers decide for you, as a Naruto fan you should know best, between Rito and Naruto, WHO would you choose?

You rushed too much, you didn't give the readers time to meet this version of Naruto(at best it's just an OC with the name and appearance of Naruto Uzumaki), you could do a few other things before Lala showed up.
Also the introduction of Lala could have been more original, it is not necessary to follow the canon exactly (a good idea would have been for Lala to appear in Naruto's room or appear next to Naruto when he was taking a nap in his room) .

Even the canon events (to love ru) must be different because Naruto is a very different MC from rito, therefore the events and how they are resolved would be totally different from the canon.

You don't have to overcomplicate the matter about rito, just get him and Haruna in a romantic relationship, and the matter is over. Just make rito and Haruna be Mobs, NPCs, background characters or whatever you want to call them, the point is don't focus too much on rito and Haruna because they would just be a third wheel in the whole plot thing (rito and Haruna don't they have a lot to contribute to the plot).

I vote for Harem for Naruto (Naruto should have a Harem)

I don't entirely agree with Phantom Thief. Naruto and Rito could very well be together Mcs.

same for the scenes with Lala or the harem, it's just the easy way out. every story/crossover To Love-Ru with a different mc copy and paste the bath scene with Lala.

I would honestly advise you to choose what you think is best, Naruto fans will choose Naruto over Original Mc.

I think the pace of events was too fast, it would have been a good idea to show more of this Naruto's life and what his relationship is with the other characters before Lala appeared.

Of course it must be harem for Naruto.

With Rito there are not many problems, just make him stay with Haruna and they are background characters, end of story. You don't have to think much about Rito in the plot (Naruto is the MC).
The situation would be very different if you had decided to use Riko (female version of Rito).
