Danae could screw with the heroes by showing a ridiculous level of interest in Markus. When questioned, she can tell Diana that her father is a spiritual entity with no real body and he forged a body to conceive her. To forge that body he used the blood of the most capable survivor of his games. So, she is looking for the man that has the admiration of her father and aunt Neo, who she also happens to share blood with.
Bonus points if she openly shows attraction to and greater obedience towards Markus than Diana, because he "proved" himself through her father's crucible.

Yep, Markus is definitely one of Shiro's picked Gamers, rather than the Kuros' or Grey, he certainly knows how to pick that unique breed of evil. I would say that Gnarl would be proud but last time I checked he served original Kuro, rather than Kuro-Dantalion or Kuro-Dracula.

This was amazing, as it always is, and shows quite well why The Nightmare is my favourite story of yours. Because it's just so fucked up and enjoyable, it's lovely.

Anyway, poor Diana is so screwed, I feel a little bad for her, having to come to grips that her daughter was just raised to be a sociopathic murderer for 16 years. I think this is why she's willing to try to redeem her daughter, because she couldn't register and realise that 16 years had passed for her daughter in a single night, at least logically and emotionally.

Thanks for the chapter didn’t expect him to do his daughter as well although not surprising given few other stories involved an mc doing his sisters.
