But, as a fun fact: although I love the 'mate' idea, it wouldn't actually work for a werebear/bear shifter. Bears are polygamous. I'm not just speaking of males either, bear females will sleep with as many of the males in the area as possible to increase chances of reproduction; and also trick them all into thinking the cubs are theirs and ensure none of them try to kill them. |
