So much transpired, what a whirlwind! I greatly enjoyed reading this update, I was rooting for Richard to gain consciousness quickly but then on another note, I didn’t expect Elizabeth to talk to Georgiana so soon! The time made sense however. I would love to see Kitty and the Colonel settle together, everyone needs love! I am eager to find out if Pemberly can ever feel comfortable again though. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Wow, just wow! Poor Lz. I'm sitting here in the middle of the night, crying silence tears for dearest Elizabeth. Darcy is her refuge. Without his love, she could not go on. Heartbreaking.
On the other hand, Caro B is in the hot seat, or she soon will be. What a skeezer. Giving up her maiden head, to some half backed schemer, is the epitome of stupidity. Whatevers awaiting her, so be it. A more rediculous fool there never was. Even Lydia was not that stupid. Hoping she's preggers. Cheerio.

I'm glad that the General woke up. Scary night. I hope the worst is passed. I love his rhyme to Kitty.
I am looking forward to dear Caro getting found out! She was counting on the success of the night. But, how would she have felt if It had been Darcy that was stabbed and perhaps killed, this night?

Goodness that was a long chapter with some very surprising developments - especially the scene in the library! I had to put my pad down for a minute - I really wasn’t expecting anything like that.

Thank you very much for the new chapter. I write this with teary eyes. The life of Julia and the history of her parents is indeed a dreadful one. How old should a child be to be told such a story? Who will she resemble when growing up? I am wondering if the Colonel will remember anything of his stabbing? Would the man have said any word while attempting to murder? Would his socialising with Lord Neston be commented upon in the Ton? Would his absence from London be noticed? What about his reaction to the General still living? Please please please update soon!

This is so much more than P&P fan fiction. You have put so much in it with the new characters (Neston, Colbourne, Ashbourne…) and developed the original character (most of all Georgia?). What a chapter. So thank you very much. I am hurrying to the next one.

Wow! Such an action packed chapter! So many feelings while you take us thru the passages, the heinous act of an attempted kinslaying, the horror of meeting one's enemy in dark places with children to protect, the anguish of not knowing what is what and who was hurt etc...

For Now Ashbourne and Caroline got away n yet they are both planing for more... please let somebody know something...I really pity the Earl, he's already not well and to further face with the Colonel/ General uncertain survival, will take a toll on him. Here's hoping the Earl will be stronger to face what's next coz whatever it is , will surely be bad...

Since Caroline is an accomplice to this burglary and murder attempt, can she be punished thoroughly, Pleaseeeeeee. Not just a place at an asylum nor death ..

Wow great chapters I am glad for Julia and Georgiana. I am wondering what Caroline will do after she finds out who shot Neston. I can't wait to see what Ashbourne does when he finds his brother is still alive. Thanks again for sharing your story.

That would be a hard letter to write. I'm glad that Kitty gets to set by Henry as he heals. Maybe he will mutter something that Kitty should hear. I guess his career is over.
