I know you are trying to wrap this up quickly, but it seems that Caroline's treachery, the footman who tripped the butler, and Addison's deceit are all discovered very easily. Do we need more clues?

Very happy update. Happiness seems to be growing through out the extended family. I’m very happy the little chimney sweep found Meg’s note. Glad that awful butler got the boot!

Kitty and Henry...I loved it when he said that he could become Mama B's favorite son-in-law. Darcy wouldn't even bother trying to be the favorite? HA! It would just be Bingley or Henry.

I thought this story was all but finished, but your plot had more drama to go. Poor Elizabeth, all that she went through. I am amazed that she didn't need a few years in Bedlam just to recover.

The fact that the butler was in on it too! Oh my goodness, somehow the plot has continued to thicken even after the climax. I am so glad that Elizabeth can now be much more at ease and it is so nice to see Kitty married off to the man of her dreams! They will get along so splendidly together! Hoping for a bit of a respite for our characters to continue for just a little longer, although I know the elderly folks are elderly indeed. Looking forward to reading more soon!

I don't think I can survive this story if he is such... bad, rake, stupid, idiot, foot in the mouth disease n callous Darcy , I can manage ...(especially if Darcy being punished like AbbaLane stories... hehehehehe) ... but evil Darcy...at this stage , i shudders to think what I will do to my rooms...

On another point, I think there will be a calculating very evil Darcy to come...paladin, Once lost is lost , a very intriguing story . The author is chilling off for some time, Maybe thinking to give the story's title credence n merit by making Darcy really evil OR maybe I'm wrong and there's HEA for ODC... But Please Don't Go there...

I was worried when they were drinking the brandy which was brought up from London. thinking they might be poisoned whew! love this story!
