Reviews for Shadow of the Empire |

![]() ![]() ![]() This is a great story you have. I like the fact that you explored this crossover from a different angle where the Empire hire the leaf (Konohagure) to deal with the revolutionary army. Exploring the dark truth of being a shinobi. I've seen a lot of Naruto x Akame Ga Kill and It would be Naruto being put into a world where death, despair and corruption is far more constant with Naruto having a much lighter personality. Better off putting Sasuke in the story. You portrayed this well. But there is one thing that I didn't agree with, Night Raid calling Naruto and Kakashi monsters for stopping them and working with the Empire when Night Raid has done monstrous things in the past despite their noble cause. That kind of makes Night Raid come off as hypocritical. Even Night Raid said this to Tatsumi shortly after he joined Night Raid. That they are assassins that kill people and would have to atone for those crimes one way or another. They don't consider themselves heroes, just people fighting for a better future even if it's through bloodshed. If you were going for shock value for Naruto because he never experienced this side of being a shinobi, I believe there were many ways to go about it. Either Naruto and Kakashi would have called out Night Raid's Hypocrisy, or they could have said "The Empire contacted the Leaf first" but I doubt Kakashi would have said a word because he has been in this situation so many times. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Me gustó esta historia mucho Pero desde el casi asecinato de Kakashi sentí que hubo un tremendo bajón de calidad y apresuraste mucho la trama y eso jugó en contra de la historia. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is not done, retard. Why is it marked as such? Oh, it's because you're too stupid to finish anything you post, and so you've abandoned everything. |
![]() ![]() The four Hokages are still trapped inside the Shinigami’s stomach, and what about the other Biju that are still trapped inside the Gedo Maizo? |
![]() ![]() What about Black Zetsu!? |
![]() ![]() What happened to Karin? |
![]() ![]() This chapter seems rushed, and is Hinata still alive? |
![]() ![]() ![]() um... why didn't naruto just use a substitution? this plot thing to deal with the wires is just kind of pointless Lubbuck is literally the one guy who stands no chance against any tier Shinobi as a simple d rank jutsu nullifies his arsenal... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Of course I understand everything. But it's a painfully stingy account of what happened after the trial. It would be interesting to know. Well, Tsunade's reaction was a little upset, it seems like it should be a joke. But like this is his life and since he has found a wife, then this is his business. And she started screaming |
![]() ![]() ![]() ah. a follower of the way of the log. its always a treat to see |
![]() ![]() No lemon and a rather abrupt-ish ending. I really liked the story, I just wished there'd be an longer epilogue chapter after esdeaths, hearing. You did a lot of building but the payoff wasn't as big as it could have been. Thanks for the read!. |
![]() ![]() Maravilloso capitulo :p , me encanto el final y el omake , pero podria haber uno o dos omakes mas ? Seria divertido de ver :p |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was a very fun story to read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() you could make a fallow up |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, this was a nice ride. There's a lot happening in this last chapter and I'd have liked to have things pan out a bit more and have more interactions between the cast. By the end it feels a little "summary-ish". I think the omake could have been expanded upon and turned into an proper epilogue, for example. It's fine though. Onto the positives, if there's one thing that I'm glad wasn't dragged out it's Tobi's demise: I've been hoping to see that piece of trash Mahapadma'd for years now - ever since I first dabbled in these crossovers. I cannot explain how cathartic it is to finally have it happen. Naruto and Esdeath's relationship was fun to see develop despite - or perhaps because of - their clashing beliefs. Night Raid as an antagonist is also kinda neat. Needed to happen at least once. Finally, Kakashi's role throughout the story was great. He did his job as a ninja and as a mentor; he had his cool moments; he was never overbearing despite his big part in all of this. What more could you ask? All in all I really liked this story. The premise, the themes and the overall absence of endgame stuff like Hagoromo giving outlandish power-ups from beyond the grave... Need to read it from scratch one of these days. It was fun. Happy new year! |
