All of this talk about how you would set up the world and Illios. But a major component entirely not noticed or recognized is the interpersonal relations. A powerful mage might garner the attention of hundreds of witches. If he partook in many wives this in turn spurs hatred envy and anger and could spur a zealous attack. There is so much pain and sorrow that happens from infidelity and polygamy. They're destabilizing elements in any society, even if they're freaking awesome.

Ok, all this science shit is cool and all, but it’s starting to feel like a fucking scientific paper or something at this point! Seems pretty fucking stupid that an MC who constantly says he trusts his magic, is unwilling to allow it to show him visions of the past. Especially if hes a king. Unofficially or not. He has a responsibility to his people and its only gonna make more problems the more he continues to be a pancy about it

In a dialogue, in a converesation, it's quite annoying how you write them. First, one of the persons opens the dialogue with a sentence, then atticus's internal monologue goes of, an exposision of twenty paragraphs follows about something that is often tangently relevant to the conversation before he answers. I have to go back and see what was said first as I forgot during the mid conversation info dumb. Annoying
