OMFGS this story! I loved it so much and I just want to share my headcannon: Percy becomes glitched because he has no one to bond to soooo he dies and guess what the afterlife is like… the greek underworld and so percabeth meet again, in elysium!

I want to apologize for my earlier comment, it isn’t easy to admit being wrong, but I am definitely wrong. Incredible story and I believe the ending is one of the best written tragic ones of any percabeth fic ever. You are SO incredibly talented and are going to go so far as a writer. While I love this story, the ending to it felt rushed, like you wanted to end the story and wanted things to progress as soon as possible. Also, Annabeth dying kind of took away from Rachel’s whole sacrifice of breaking Percy’s heart. I understand wanting her to meet her mother, but I think it could’ve been less rushed. Like she and Percy could’ve lived their lives together, then an epilogue could show her finally seeing her mother again when she was old and dying. That way, we could have finally gotten Percabeth, which is what the story was leading up to, and also felt like Rachel’s sacrifice for Annabeth wasn’t in vain. I just think her dying after all that effort is kinda like throwing everything out the window.

Again, overall this story was fantastic and one of the best I’ve ever read, so I don’t mean to put you down about it, because that’s the opposite of what I wanted to do. Also, thank you for such a good story, and for putting so much effort into your ideas and inspiration. Hope you keep writing, and hope you overcome whatever the sickness is that’s causing you so much pain. Good luck, and can’t wait to read the next story!

So even when she changed her mind and tried bonding with Percy, she died anyways? But if Rachel revoked the bond, doesn’t that mean she’ll also end up dead? Does that mean Percy is legit going to be by himself heartbroken? I liked the twist of the non happy ending, but it seems to me that Rachel also was destined to die at the end anyways, so Annabeth basically died for nothing…. Am I wrong? I’m just a lil confused

Love all of this so much! Well maybe love is not the right word because its so devastating, but its really good. There are just a few things I didn't like so much (but this is my opinion so don't stress about it)
- You used 'You're' not 'your' incorrectly in a few places which i literally do all the time bc idk bc 'you're' looks so much better i guess..
- Drugging Rachel... Why? It feels very underhand..
- Why are connor and travis so nasty?
- Lots of focus on multiple ships which detracts from percabeth (FrankxHazel CalypsoxLeo GroverxJuniper)
- the end scene feels kinda rushed, I think that there could definitely be more emotion there..
- Chiquita song at the end kind of ruins the impact of the last line, and although its really cool how it echoes Annabeth and Rachel's relationship throughout the story, it feels like something that would would better as a song in the end credits which you obviously can't have in writing, so i guess it the best option availble.
But enough with the negatives because that's a bit nasty.. Here are some things I loved:
- Casual caleo moments, acknowledging their superior IQ
- Family reunion vibes
- Percy just being unable to choose bc emotion
- devastating ending that i really (idk why i thought she would live tho..) didn't expect but with the twist at the end that almost gave hope (sorry RED but I really don't care if you die to save percabeth..)
- Helen & annabeth reuniting 3
And one final question (which may be so obvious and if so i'm sorry for asking) did both annabeth and rachel die in the end? cause if so thats so ironic and bittersweet that they tried so hard to save one another and it meant both of them died.
This has been such a journey over the long months, its crazy to think I can no longer count down the days to the next update..

Would there be a way to add onto this? I’ve been thinking and if Rachel had destroyed her heart before she bonded with Percy I think that all three of them could’ve survived. The only downside would be that Rachel wouldn’t be affected by soulmate magic, or worst case scenario she becomes glitched. Happy Ending. But obviously that didn’t happen. So what if in a sequel (if you write one, please do) Percy and Rachel travel the world to help other love triangles. Like their theory is that if the appendage destroys their hearts then the two soulmates both live and so does the appendage. Everybody lives. And at the end it’s bittersweet because Annabeth’s death eventually saved tons of people. Could you think of doing this as a sequel? Or can I get you permission to write a sequel of sorts? My username is Percabethisawesome13 (I just got logged out) It’s ok if you say no but I need an ending on their lives, at least a happier ending.
