![]() ![]() ![]() good chapters |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm betting the jonin in charge that says nothing is going on is in on it. sort of narratively inevitable, and it's a better explanation than that the jonin didn't notice what's going on even when told about it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty darn good fight. Qnd one that estavlishes some interesting things around fuinjutsu. Breaking it had a cost, and took most of a decade, but it proves that it is possible to break an unwanted seal. And man it's good to see Takuma manhandle some plebs. Pity he couldn't question Kaito though. Hell I was considering if Takuma took him alive, turning him into an informant on the promise that he had a job at the end of his (now extended) sentence could mean Anbu has a contact in this mine. Not a great chance, but Kaito was clearly uncommonly clever and insightful. Pity Takuma can't put that to use. Probably would have had to transfer him to a different prison, but there was potential there. The threat that Takuma could have him transferred back to this mine if he got uppity or failed to report information once in a while. Kaito had the makings of a useful prison snitch, and killing him off feels like a waste for an Inquisitor. |
![]() ![]() ![]() You are such a great writer and I love these stories. The elements of crime drama, fantasy, genres innumerable... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Man...shifting through paperwork to find a case/mission tough, especially when majority are jake or fake called 'Trash Mail'. Still, Ratel/Takuma found a case in Maizuru Quarters at a Prison Camp use for harvesting minerals/ore from Mines... Let's hope this leads to something interesting and start off Ratel/Takuma reputation in ANBU nicely! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for updating! Site was acting weird. I will be giving short reviews until I get to the current chapter. I do love that Fugaku Uchiha figured out that Takuma is in ANBU and being a Bodyguard of Ironwood Protection Company is front/cover. As soon as Aburame Seinpachi mention, Fugaku figured out being a Clan Head and also Itachi telling him to keep it quiet about it...But Fugaku is uncomfortable about ANBU being taught by his Wife and possibly spying on them. I do not think Mikoto Uchiha would feel a issue about this, but would give Takuma HINT that she knows his real position. Honestly feels like reading "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex", but it Takuma is kind the new recruit like Togusa. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the chapter el |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the chapter! I love a good prison break! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, poor prisoners have shite luck. |
![]() ![]() is that a one piece reference? |
![]() ![]() ![]() This makes no sense. If the manpower issue is as huge as you make it sound, and the efficiency of the unit so important, no way the leader wouldn't come down hard on Dhole for shirking his responsibility to whipe the newbie into shape. Shole is directly, EXPLICITLY and OPENLY undermining the unit by sabotaging Takumas development. There's no way the squad or unit leader would tolerate that from how you highlighted how important it was to get the two newbs up to snuff. |
![]() ![]() ![]() While him being wary of anbu is understandable, I think Mikoto wouldn't care. And I think she'd immediately understand why Takuma went somewhere else, and would point out to Fugaku that it made keeping her relationship with Takuma in good srandint, since it means the Police Force might be able to poach him back after one or two tours and get an even more useful and experienced shinobi. |
