This was nice, except for the part about the Weasley's, which seemed forced in just to cut the cast down. I did like the stuff about Fudge and his thoughts on Madam Bones, which seemed realistic. I also liked the Goblins being realistic about their chances without the Wizards around if they could survive on their own, they would.

Happy to see you writing again. The retirement thing is a challenge to some degree, but even if you do enough to keep the Missus happy, you should have writing time available.

I like that you took up your own challenge of 'Unintended Consequences'.

Not having to repeat parts of the original will save lengthy explanations, but already the changes/results are showing up. Bye, Rita ! lol

The characters' personal reactions are much the same but some results are definitely different, especially considering the way some met their deaths. We've also skipped some people [fellow students at Hogwarts] it will be interesting to see how and IF they are included.
