Honestly to many people butcher Dumbledore for my liking. He’s a man who depending on which interview is JKR you prefer is either 112 or 130. A man who has three very time consuming positions that each by themselves is more then enough for one person but he’s one person doing all three. So honestly mistakes he makes concerning Harry should really be forgiven because Harry isn’t the center of his world. Also I am definitely not a fan of how you and everyone else seems to think Dumbledore was ever fixated on the prophecy. His own words in the books literally state that he doesn’t think the prophecy really matters at all but also acknowledges that even if the prophecy is fake the fact that Voldemort believes it means it matters regardless of his own beliefs on the matter.

Could you add a bit of foot fetish to your story? Would love for Harry to take Daphne's toes in his mouth while being enveloped by her scent.
