Great story so far. I kind of hope that All Might will end up giving Izuku OFA because otherwise, I'm thinking Izuku might lose his quirk. Other than that, I can't wait to read more, so I'm hoping that'll be soon!

Though as for UA teachers being pissed at 1-B for sandbagging it... nah.

They'd likely say "You chose the risk, you accept the loss" to those that didn't make the cut-out, but holding back in the first event to both scope out the competition as well as not exhaust themselves before the group event is a completely valid strategy that just shows different Pro Hero qualities (strategic thinking, keeping the big picture in mind, and willingness to look less cool if it means they can save the day in the long run) than merely being fast that honestly in comparison makes Icyhot and Blasty physically fighting over first place in an unimportant stage of the Sports Festival look petty and unheroic in comparison.

It's the same kind of qualities that were judged and had points taken away for in the Licensing Exam.

Especially in the 1st Year Sports Festival where results are MUCH less important and the students will be experimenting as it's their first time, there is absolutely no way any staff member at UA or the majority of Pro Heroes in the audience would disapprove of 1-B's decision to hold back.

Nezu and All Might should warn Midoriya. "If you see a suit wearing dude smirking at you saying he looks forward to enjoying your power, don't let him get into close range as you because he can steal your Quirk."

Interesting power, though I'll be disappointed if Izuku doesn't no sell Kurogiri entirely by slurping up all his mist, blocking him trying to Warp Gate the students apart while revealing Oboro's face.

Oh man, what an absolutely broken quirk. Im wondering what all for one even thinks he can do about it? I mean, technically he could go for an aoe assault similar to dropping him in the lake, only stuff that hurts right away to be touched by, fire, electricity, etc, but he also clearly has stored counters to just about anything and everything you use against him he can absorb and return to sender. Making a drawn out fight a bad idea. And all he has to do is touch you and you are done. Sealed away in stasis only to return to awareness inside the most heavily protected cell tarturus has to offer. With his stored kinetic energy and such, avoiding him isnt going to be easy.

If he had a launcher made of resin coated quirk doped fabrics , he could store things from further away, it can also function as a grappling hook extension since he can use his inventory with it.

Plus if the end is made up of multiple cords then by releasing air just right he can make the cord unravel for a large area Inventory net

it'd be funny if afo tried to steal his quirk and izuku just stored him. basically trapping him forever as long as izuku never sends him out
