This is the problem with onepiece fans. For a well built mega series, it's fans have the brain power and creativity of an otter.

Luffy could have stretched his arms and bazooka'ed himself in the first place but no, he gotta use gear second cuz the writer has no creativity and only knows how to turn everything into a power level discussion.

Would be funny if Luffy to blurt out that he lived in Goa and the pros were to send someone on a wild goose chase to India looking for the secret organisation that experimented on Luffy. In their eyes would make sense why Luffy idolizes pirates cuz a somali pirate named shanks sacrificed his arm to save a drowning Luffy.

The first party was sweet. The class got to bond without Luffy livening up everything with his antics
