|Reviews for Beyond the Veil|
| EowynofRohan13 chapter 10 . 2/12
This has officially become my headcannon for the end of OotP. I loved it, thank you so much for writing it.

| drivingon chapter 10 . 11/2/2013
This is a pretty phenomenal story! I know you wrote it a decade ago and probably don't read reviews, but I couldn't resist saying something. This was amazing.
| ocean-of-ink chapter 10 . 9/7/2013
I really enjoyed this story (old as it is). Were the mirror parts at all inspired by Terry Pratchett's novel Witches Abroad? (If not, go read that and be amazed by the similarities.)
| Smudge the rat chapter 10 . 9/6/2013
I read this before bed. In a room with a full-length mirror opposite the bed. After I turned the light out to go to sleep, I kept having to check that my reflection wasn't watching me.
This was wonderfully creepy, inventive and well-written. After the end of the 5th book I did wonder if Sirius was going to come back. Making him fall through a creepy veil with voices behind it and not come out the other side seemed to suggest he was stuck somewhere. Until his spirit turned up in the last book I was never sure whether he really was dead. I guess it was just an interesting way to kill him, but it seemed like a missed opportunity.
I'm glad someone developed it into something clever and interesting.

Absolutely amazing. Your mastery over this story is enthralling, one of the most original and interesting plots I've ever had the fortune to read in the hp fandom. It's been a decade since you first wrote this story and although hp canon differs greatly from this, BTV is immensely enjoyable to read. Thank you for writing this masterpiece.
| punctured-hearts chapter 10 . 8/5/2013
I absolutely loved this. You blended a good amount of plot with good characterization on most parts and it worked together so well. Even though it ended at a perfect spot, I wish there was more to read. This was years ago and I'm sure your writing style has improved even more, I'll be sure to check your original works soon.
| Zuzanny chapter 10 . 12/26/2012
That was beautiful. I very much enjoyed reading this fic.
| Dolphelecat chapter 10 . 12/8/2012
Oh wow. This was absolutely amazing. I don't suppose there's any possibility of you doing a sequel, is there?
| Umbrae Calamitas chapter 10 . 8/3/2012
Right. You're freaking amazing. I am so rec'ing this fic in my next chapter, because it's brilliant. I picked up on some of the mirror ideas before the characters, through a mix of my love of art, and the movie Inception, and my disturbingly vast knowledge of supernatural myths. :D But I didn't catch everything and was still surprised, which made it so awesome.
:D So love this. SO love it. Brilliant.
Live long. Live well. Write. Read. Dream.
| Guest chapter 10 . 7/10/2012
This was absolutely amazing! I love Sirius and Remus's relationship and how sweet they are. This was wonderfully written and kept me hanging on every word. Great job and keep up the good work! :))
| Atsuko chapter 10 . 5/4/2012
This story is absolutely phenomenal, and I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon it via a rec from TVTropes. It's clear that you put so much thought into it - honestly, while reading, I often forgot that this was fanfiction, as, whether consciously or unconsciously, your style came extremely close to that of the original books. I adore the mythology you utilized and created: mirror and dream magic is fascinating! Really, the entire story was so rich, from the plot to the setting to the characterization. The romance was also incredibly sweet while remaining believable, and it didn't force the plot to take a backseat. Kudos to you! This is a masterpiece of which you should be proud.

| escapist219 chapter 10 . 2/10/2012
Loved it! I always held out hope that Sirius would come back from the veil...Great fic!
| The First Marauder chapter 10 . 1/2/2012
This story is absolute genius-I am in awe of your marvelous plot-it is worthy of J. K. Rowling herself. Really she should change the books just so Sirius can come back how you have told in this story.
The characters were all portrayed so correctly and well. The little mentions of happy Marauder history I just loved.
Yes, I did read that there was not going to be a sequel but, you know, if you ever are in need of a plot idea, continue this?
Thank you for writing such an amazing story and thank your sisters for me for encouraging you to continue-this piece of writing is bloody brilliant (as Ron would say)!
