Not sure about that deal he made with the twins; no venture capitalist would have given a deal that good, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. If he’s smart, he’ll develop multiple income streams and will renegotiate later on with the twins when they’ve solidified their relationship and they come to realize how much value he brings to the table.

I’m curious if this thing with Daphne will go anywhere. If he married her and joined the family it’d certainly be an advantage and makes things easier, but I can also see Gar wanting to build his family up himself and making it a powerhouse in both the muggle and magical world. Becoming the patriarch and founder of a great and powerful dynastic family would likely appeal to him greatly.

Eh, shit escalates sometimes when you're having a verbal battle. Don't understand why people get so upset about it. Why carry on the insults after the spat is over? Tbh, I was always the guy who did the escalating so I'm definitely biased. My mottos always been, if you're gonna throw shit at me, I'll be the pig that'll drag you down to the mudpit with me.

It's an interesting fic so far. I like that Gar wants to make money and increase his power and influence.

I'm a bit less excited about Gar involving himself with Harry. The canon events have a tendency to overwhelm the unique SI you created and his plans. Be careful there.

So far, I've heard about plans, and seen him try this muggle study material stuff, but very little in the way of really creative stuff, like using his adult/muggle perspective on magic or really utilizing his foreknowledge much at all. If I were him I'd already have done everything I could to acquire a house elf and started carefully exploring and inventorying the ROR (by myself).

Where is the wonder side of magic? Rituals and shamanism and calls to the primordial forces of the universe? I like big plans and big ambitions where the muggle SI doesn't try to wring out the wonder in magic with too much science.

Other than the swearing, the story hasn't earned the M rating. Where are the adult desires he might have? An aging potion and a muggle nightclub and he could easily find willing partners. Teenage ones might not be that hard either. Have fun changing the wizarding culture. Don't make assumptions the taboos of the modern western muggle world are going to be the same.

Has he looked into the wider world of magic that isn't covered by the books? The book on African magic was a good small start, now run with it. Have every summer be an adventure in magic worldwide.

I know we're very early in the story both chapter wise and canon chronologically, but it's never too soon to think of these things and working them in.
