mainstreet52 chapter 1 . 5/27/2011 Very unique, thoughtful, and detailed. :) Well designed on the whole. |
Omoi-ame chapter 1 . 1/11/2008 OH, WOW! Love ur explaination of Mrs. Parry |
Lunlar chapter 1 . 12/22/2007 I really liked it, it was well-written and the bits you added yourself were fantastic :] Was Will away two years? O_ Gosh Anyway, good story, I've never read an Elaine Parry story before! |
Pyrgus Malvae chapter 1 . 2/27/2005 This is the first Elaine Parry story I've read, and i don't think I need to read another! The reason for her "madness" is a very clever one. The story is touching and makes her seem like a strong willed person, not just the feeble woman who Will has to care for. Congratulations on a very good story! |
elenlaurelin chapter 1 . 7/30/2003 What a lovely story! It really made me think about Elaine Parry as a person, not just a shadow who should be quickly forgotten. You stuck to her character very well, and your story is extremely well done. One thing you might want to look at, however, is that you don't explain about her counting the leaves on the bushes, or the slats on the benches, which might be interesting to add. Thank you for sharing this story! |
Danny Barefoot chapter 1 . 7/12/2003 A very interesting piece. Elaine Parry is difficult to write about-but this is really intimate, heartfelt and true for people left behind by their loved ones in all kinds of situations. I can't say John Parry's ever been exactly my favorite character, as it happens. Waiting for the next one! If Ceres reads this, don't take the commandment down, there's a lot left to be written about this character. |
kenansense chapter 1 . 7/9/2003 Wow, this is an excellent story. You have a great writing style, explain everything clearly, even were able to keep all the events timed perfectly. This is by far the best Elaine Parry story I've ever read. Please write more stories! |
Ceres Wunderkind chapter 1 . 7/8/2003 How wonderful - to find that Elaine's heart had wings... This is a delightful story - subtle and full of depth. The explanation of the cause of Elaine's "madness" is perfectly credible, and a pleasant change from the usual Spectres or early-onset Alzheimer's. Naturally, I'm gratified to see my modest request granted; that someone should write a good Elaine Parry story. Have I got to withdraw Commandment Five now? |
