Making up with the jealous bint who kept holding him back? Hell nah

Just finished the last three chapters and I love how it wraps up for the future in the Clockwork Army. Such a fantastic story, and can't wait to read the rest.

That twist with Crouch being found out and the bonus of both being future players always gets me and the added part of Dumbledore being sacked is the icing on the cake. I love how Harry's friend group is rounding out. While I like the 'Golden Trio' its always nice seeing the characters being rounded out by their friends instead of consistently being each other social circle. Terry is great, Daphne is wonderful and Malfada rounds them out with Ron being back.

I definitely don't think Ronald Bilius Weasley wouldn't call out all of Dumbledore's dirty laundry if it was printed in his face. Ron would have done exactly what your Ron did. He would stand up to the injustice of his former best friend being treated like crap and realizing that everything that happened was wrong. Brilliantly written and can't wait to continue reading.

Just finished it and still love the addition of Malfalda as Harry's younger sister. It's the best way I can think of the role for her to fill cause she fits into a Potter younger sibling role. Harry and Hermione ending up together is what drew me into this fic in the first place and while I like that they end up together eventually, I love the way how this is such a slow teenage romance/ coming-of-age tale.

Hello, I just started re-reading this fic and restarting it since I saw you updated your other story '1973' to get a refresher of this classic. Love the addon of Malfalda (a character cut from J.K's original works) and love her already. The premise of the story dragged me in cause fourth-year alternative fics usually always end up good when they twist the Goblet into different ways to get past not competing in the tournament. I used a somewhat similar Mafalda Prewett in my new story Ron Weasley and the Philosopher's Stone. In my case, the squib cousin sent Mafalda to live with Muriel and it's the Boy-Who-Lived, Ron Weasley, who has to live with the squib and his Muggle wife, both of whom hate and resent magic.

BTW if anyone ever goes "WHERE THE HELL DID YOU COME UP WITH A CHARACTER WITH A NAME LIKE MAFALDA PREWETT?" in addition to pointing out that she was supposed to be a Hogwarts student but got written out - point out that Lily Moon is in the exact same situation. She was written out around the same time Mafalda Prewett was. Yet she's become a fanfiction staple. Justice for Mafladas, I say! Well, except the one at the Ministry. Justice for her would start with the stocks, probably.

What an interesting take on a Harry vs Dumbledore confrontation. It lacked a little bit of finesse but just the notion that neither is a hundred percent right and that they can find middle ground is refreshing. Which should tell you a lot about this fandom

Handholding! How scandalous! I hate how chaste most of HP stories are about relationships. I mean I don't expect smut from every story, but teenagers with practically no supervision and a millions ways to hide would be all over each other.

Yeah this is stupid. What a perfect "whimsical" world. Orher than the fact that Harry basically has split personality because tou want him to randomly rely on your OC.

Yeah, the female first year OC that miraculously becomes Harry Potter's best friend after randomly getting protected from "bullies" by him. Havent read a million of thise cluched stories. Just write an SI instead
