When I saw how much Harry bonded with Sirius earlier in this story, I was resigned for this to eventually be Snape-bashing. I’m so glad you’re giving ickle Severus a chance!

“Apparently being hyperactive was just part of Dobby and no part of the curse. you have the best lines!

“(James) was getting handsy so (Lily) set a load of adders on him.” This is the best line I’ve read in months! Its very fitting to both their characters from what we’ve read in canon.
