I think I remember why I stopped reading this before. I understand you have to make it more exciting and more dramatic but nothing in this world can threaten Naruto and to keep insinuating that stuff can if annoying. He's survived gods and superhuman ninjas, and tailed beasts, you're telling me mortal humans can ever threaten him? Makes it frustrating to read that you even think this could happen.

He should have just used one giant Rasengan and it would have been over. Why the need to drag it out?

There is a second option in which step to take next, they could take the island just to the west of bloodstone, it is the second largest island after bloodstone. It doesn't have a canon name. The big problem with going after this island next is its right next to Dorne. That could cause problems, it also is said to possibly have some desert terrain.

As always this is my favorite one of your stories, and I look forward to more chapters. I like how they are slowly working to limit the Maester's powers. Perhaps once they get control of the other islands in the stepstones they can dedicate one for learning purposes.

That brings me to the next steps in their conquest. They are currently on Bloodstone from the looks of it, its the largest island of the stepstones, it makes sense they are colonizing that one first.
The next step is to move on one of the other islands. There is not a lot of canon info on the other islands (although plenty of fanfiction options).

One canon island is the Grey Gallows, it is rather infamous as a staging area for pirates. Its pretty small, but it is also in the center of the stepstone region, its also just south of bloodstone. Also depending on what source you use to look it up it also has a rather...sordid past. Taking that island would probably end a lot of the pirate raids on Bloodstone, and give the new lords of the stepstones access to the other islands. Especially the island just south of the Grey Gallows. I'm not sure what the name is, but it is the third largest island in the stepstones, good for colonization. Taking the Grey Gallows and this other island would be key to eventually taking the rest of the islands.

The idea of inventions of the Mechanicus that Alicent is working on, transforming the step stones into something similar like Piltover City and celebrating new inventions making a Progress Day Holiday from "Arcane League of Legends."

I think it would be a good time for a time jump, for the conflict over the Iron Throne to develop, if it is going to exist because the succession is assured.
