I just got done rereading this story and its still awesome, really would love to see it continue

I think you have the dates wrong. The Fourth War was in 1994, and the Fifth was 2004. Ten years apart. The Great Fire also happened in 1994, at the end of the Fourth War. 2009 would be way after the 4th War, and some years after the 5th.
