i won't point out the pronoun mis translations as those seem to be a recurring issue. my question is more based on your lore are you more game of thrones knowledable or Nasuverse? because Prana which is the fuel for magecraft comes from 2 sources. mana from the atmosphere, however in Nasuverse its pretty weak due to the age of man. Od is the more efficent method for most and that comes from the magic circuits which use life force... external mana is used for formalcraft such as magic circle based rituals and bounded fields among other things. most of the time Magus however don't use those unless they are using a large scale magecraft or summoning ritual. as a result Shirou(Jon) shouldn't have any issues using magecraft based on the logic you're basing the world as Od comes from your body and life force NOT by using the mana in the air. just wanted to clear up the misconception lol
