This is great stuff! Daphne was such a self absorbed little girl. Hope she gets Harry and Astoria to forgive her is going to be interesting.

yo what's up with all the torture porn in chapter 1 also the story progression is very slow. except the glares and astoria almost killing herself i really don't see any proper comeuppance for dumbledore, snape malfoy or even daphne. can you go through the years a bit faster because it is becoming nothing more than harry potter read through with an very altered story.

as much as i like/enjoy the continued dumping on Daphne (while providing Zero explanation whatsoever as to why she suddenly decided to act this way), all I can really say about this Harry is that the only feasible explanation behind his stupidly fanatic view that Daphne is a "friend" is that the boy is brain-damaged from too many strikes to the head from Vernon. The stalker level of obsession shown here isn't normal/right. I can't possibly see how you turn this around and make them a couple.

And your Dumbledore / Pomphrey conversation definitely straddled the line between an outright malicious Dumbledore who doesn't care what evidence is literally rubbed in his nose like a dog that shit the floor, and on the other side of the line a Dumbledore who is just senile beyond reproach and likely forgets to do normal things like bathe, eat, and his toilet training.

Obviously we have the chapter 1 hint as to what side of it all Croaker falls down on, but it would be nice for the portrayal to be consistant.

Okay, reading this while good is starting to become a bashing fic and with another 4 years of seeing his school life by the time you get to the end, I can see someone actually killing Daphne or Astoria dying from her blood curse. It is good and I will keep reading but at some point, there has to be some reason for Harry to keep his feelings for her otherwise he would move on to someone else.

It's better written than 90% of the stories on this site, but extremely over the top. Character reactions, the abuse, the dialogue, Astoria's condition all of it is so over the top silly. Dial that back by about 100 and you'll have a good story, but this is bordering on a lot of extremes.

All i can say is fantastic

I'm not sure if I like this story, it's interesting for sure, I don't think I've read a story that starts with this angle, the only thing I could criticize is that you seem to be demonizing Daphne, and maybe you still do, no one in the first place You are obliged to reciprocate a feeling, and no one should be severely criticized for not sending a letter or calling when they said they would. I'm sure many have told their parents or friends that they would call when they arrived so they don't worry and never they do.
So far I don't see anything wrong with the interactions between Dapnhe and Harry, they are children who grew up in different environments, for Harry that letter they didn't send him was a great thing, for Daphne, who didn't know him apart from his unjustified fame, it wasn't Big deal, so I can understand Astoria's annoyance since she's close friends with Harry and knew him better than Daphne, but I can't understand her reaction against Daphne, unless not at the moment.
