Minor villages don't get Kage anyway, only the big five, and calling yourself one amounts to shit if the others don't recognize it. And yoh should be careful with big numbers, Shinobi world is pretty small, they don't have the industry and all the other neat things thst allowed our population to explode so much. Remember that all Major Ninja villages could only send a measly five thousand people against a World Ending Threat.

It's not nature chakra, it's Natural energy. There are four energies in Naruto world (Boruto isn't canon, so not counting bs it introduces): Physical, Spiritual, Natural and Chakra. Using cooking as analogy - Chakra is used like a ladle and the soup at the same time - you mix Physical with Spiritual to use Ninjutsu, you run out of soup with each use and you need to recuperate. If someone has Senjutsu training, they can see and pull Natural energy, and add it to the mix, creating Senjutsu chakra, Sage soup basically. If they don't have training - they turn to stone and die, or in Jugo case, go nuts. Chakra itself was GIVEN to people by Hagoromo, before that no one but Kaguya had it, and couldn't naturally produce it in their bodies. Divine Tree and Tailed Beast chakra is just chakra, infinitely more potent than human, but not a separate type.

Why go to Uzushio at all? It has shit location, being surrounded from all sides with no natural barriers good enough to stop an army.

What stops from just replacing the council entirely and filling it with loyal people? They're a bunch of weakling shinobi and civvies, taking them out and placing someone in is a matter of minutes, and Ino will learn to read minds, so loyalty isn't a problem.

Seriously, the council idea is dumb and illogical, Konoha is a tiny ass village with barely two thousand people in, likely less. They don't need a council, and most importantly - it's a militarily organization, civilians wouldn't be making decisions at all.

The council is Hiruzen and his three advisors.

Not a fan of thst overcompensating lump of metal, but a useless blade for a useless dreamer soinds poetic enough, so it'll do.

Naruto is a genius in battle, even Sasuke follows his plans without question. Complete dumbass outside of it though, very sly, cunning and wise sure, but a dumbass nonetheless. No need to change the good thing.

Hope this isn't one of those fics which paint Danzo as a single-minded power hungry bastard. A well written Danzo is a fascinating thing.

Enjoying this story so far. One gripe though is that tense mixing has started creeping in. When one sentence describes the action in the past tense, and the next describes it as it happens, it is super jarring. An example would be "Dude A punched Dude B in the face", then saying "Dude B falls to the ground" rather than fell to the ground. Just a little gripe in an otherwise solid story.
