This is a fascinating story, and I liked it quite a lot. It's pretty brave to both make Jane Neurodivergent and kill her off too, but it all just worked. I also loved all the other secondary 'damaged' characters. Their treatment even today is pretty bad, but back then it was absolutely brutal and I think you handled that well without making it too much of a downer. Elizabeth's stubbornness seems just about right, and Darcy's defense mechanisms are plausible. Well done.

Mrs Bennett is still loud and delusional. Mr Bennett is a joke, responsible for the behaviour of his wife and the disrespect and amusement towards his wife and daughters does more harm.
